He was too good for us to not buy him. But wasted year if his career. Sad

Damn, I've really liked him. Hopefully we'll still buy him though will obviously not be without risk. Or maybe we can negotiate a similar loan with buy option deal and see how he'll recover before making a decision next year.
But in reality he'll probably return to Uruguay and we'll look for other options. People hate him for some reason but I think Deco is actually very good at finding these type of players. We could also consider going in for someone like Nijstad more seriously again now.
It's also a shame that all of the winter Barca Atletic/Juvenil A signings ended up having injury concerns so we'll have hard time to evaluate them. And at the same time all injuries at the BA/Juv A are also concerning and hopefully the club will study them. I know injuries happens and sometimes it's just bad luck but club's coaching and medical staff should do everything to limit the risk of injuries.
