Yeah, but who the fuck pay hundreds of millions for rights to broadcast Ipswith Town vs Luton? Seems a bit shady. Wonder why Betis vs Villareal, much better and more entertaining teams can't generate such interest from broadcasters.

It's the rights package innit. They are paying for Ipswich Vs Liverpool/City/etc.

But yes, follow the system and it is all a Zio roust. The printed money funds the TV contracts which are funded by the Sponsorships which are funded by the companies run by VC funded by printed money.

They all takes a cut, the governments take the tax, while the debt of every company involved is loading and increased.

But hey, we can't complain can we. Atleast we got to see the great Liam Delap and erm, Cody Gakpo. 100 million pounds players bruh!

The rise and fall of Premier League in the last 15 years shows how much top managers are important. Pep and Klopp were the only reason for the rise of the league in 2015-2020, no one else. They had money before them and have it after them but the level of football is/was much lower before and after them.

It involves the full package not just Ipswich, Wolves, Luton etc.

They purchase the broadcasting rights for matches involving the big teams such as Liverpool, ManU Cit, and this includes the smaller clubs so they receive huge sums, even though no one outside their own fanbases watches their games.

They are done at NT football also after Harry Kane declines or retires. They had their time at the top. Did decently as a front runner, but that's about it.

What's happening in la Liga now is basically what fans wanted the club to do when laporta took over.

What's happening in the EPL is a inflated version of what laporta decided to do. Bend the rules as much as possible to ensure you keep growing.

Austerity has never saved nobody.

Neither austerity or forever growth is the problem. It's usury. Banking your future on infinite debt fractal is just batshit suicidal, but here we are. When all of this goes down, we'll be playing football in the mud fields with ball made of clay and old rags and be happy once again.

The EPL bubble will not burst soon, more and more rich investors are waiting down the line to enter the game. For example Red Bull are invested into expanding their operations with Leeds United. The Greek ship magnate who owns Nottingham Forest will likely sell the club x10 to a richer corporation once the club stabilizes as top 10 unit. Same for Hull City, owned by a Turkish media tycoon.

But club culture is gone, it's all about stock market now, which is truly sad for the supporters.

Which is why it would be awesome, if American empire collapsed due to its absolute degeneracy and ineptitude as we see now, with all the Iran war and Yidhell shenanigans. It's about time for total bankruptcy on financial scale, because on moral and cultural one, it's already dead.

Fans who think the EPL will burst don't get the concept of too big to fail

EPL is a vital life line to the English economy. The govt literally won't let it fail.

Plus it's the EPL and CL that are the big annual drivers the football economy (all that goes with that word).in Europe and to a lesser extent the world.

That's not to say anything about private equity in sports.

A ROD GAVE good take about that recently.

Which is why it would be great if UK erupted in massive bouts of violence and chaos, which it is brewing into for good reason. The "too big to fail" is just an euphemism of "we will rob you of your fruits of labor (talking to middle/working class) so that we (robber barons) can remain living in forever luxury on your dime".

Ollie Watkins after his Saudi Pro League debut: “The standard today was as good as the Premier League to be honest”.

:troll:

I hope no PL team wins a European competition, i can't stand those arrogant fuckers anymore.

City overhaul kinda gone by smoothly without much notice. They barely have any old schoolers left apart from Foden and Dias, plus Haaland and Lewis. It must feel like a new club for them, also with a new coach after so many years.

Hope Haaland becomes available soon.

They bought a lot of players but that doesn't mean the overhaul was/is successful, the results will tells us if it was. I'm pretty sure they won't be able to play close to Pep's generation, the level fell hard.

Haaland would be a realistic target in 2028 if we want him which I'm still not sure. I like his personality and stats, overall game not so much.

Yes I meant it hasn't been talked about much. It's almost a completely new core and team.

I do believe this is the start of their curve downwards and I hope Haaland will feel they are beneath him soon enough.

Haaland will never be realistic to us imo.
His salary is too high and his pops is basically Neymar senior.

We are going to have to kawhi leonard the fuck out of his contract to pay him.

That's exactly why Barca could get him. Nobody gives out crazy wages like Barca and in 2028 we could even afford it probably.
