Well, he did plenty great things for them.
Should have just retired and stay remembered as one of the most successful presidents in history.

I hope but can't say that for certain sadly. Football is highly dynamic. They also prophesied our downfall two years ago and it turned out the other way. Even with Perez immitating Trump, their squad still can play football, they can do nearly any transfer and with the right leadership they will challenge titles.

Problem for them is many players and managers will think twice before joining them in the shape they're in now - and they'll also have a hard time selling players. I think they have to reach the bottom before they can bounce back and they haven't reached it yet...

I think it’s far more complicated. Three coaches could not get harmony in the dressing room or on the pitch - they have been unbalanced for awhile. So while discipline is critical and something Mou is known for, tactical football is not his strength - whatever the current squad could become, they will never come close to that level under a coach like Mourinho. Makes even a player like Nico Paz who may or may not be part of the squad a player who will never develop well enough in that sort of environment nevermind under Mourinho. In another universe Paz could have become someone influential but I gotta think they will sell him to an Italian club
But RM are cooked, whatever comes next will be the dark arts on whole other level - it will not inspire anyone or bring joy. It’ll be ugly

Paz will be back at Real 100% and no Italian club could afford him.
If he were to leave it would be EPL most likely.
They if have any sense should take back Paz and some of their other cheap buy backs to get in players who will do what a coach tells them and feel what club means.
From there a CM who can control a RW and CF which they will have huge capacity to do it willing to sell players.
