Real Madrid

Mourinho’s biggest strength was always that siege mentality. His players didn’t just respect him, a lot of them genuinely adored him and would run through walls for him. That Inter 2010 side especially talks about him like he was a war general rather than a football coach.
Let's see if he manages to deal with Vinicius and Mbappe. These two are on another level of arrogance and entitlement. Also thanks to current times, not comparable to 15 years ago.
Important will be not the start, but how it'll look mid-season when Alonso started to lose players. When the honeymoon ends, that's when it'll count. I doubt that he can make them work together the entire season and will fail as well.

Mourinho will definately try to get under Flick's skin. Let's see how Flick reacts and whether he is all Mr. Nice Guy in these presses taking all the baits thrown at him by Mourinho.
Flick is scythian, Mourinho is jew. It will be glorious, but i also believe that Flick will never be dragged down to depravity that Mou would want to drag this derby. He's just too moral and upstanding person and it will be clearly visible. Unless Mou himself have become wiser and better person with age, but i doubt. There's always rot emanating from him.

Curious as to see how the mbappe mourinho collab will pan out. Seems very much possible turtle will get sick of him rather quickly.

Think Mou will do much better than people here hope. Can see him benching crybabies like Vini, and making a competent team from the rest of players.

Also expect to see Real spend big this summer, after two years without a trophy they simply must.

Think Mou is smart enough to keep Mbappe happy.

No surprise he jumps on this offer. He's been sa nobody for a lot of years now. Can't even remember his last prestigious job before RM now.

Nearly a decade ago with Man Utd back when they were semi competent and won Europa League under him

Their squad suits the special one it has to be said
They might be divas but he will unite them

Even prime Mourinho isn't uniting this dressing room of divas. Back then he had Ronaldo's ego to stroke, Benzema and co were happy to serve but now? (in no particular order) Mbappe, Valverde, Vini jr, Bellingham and probably the next galactico they waste money on this summer.

The problem is that I could see Flick getting tired of Mou's and Perez' constant bullshit. I'm sure Flick won't engage in his bullshit but it could wear him down. For sure that was a part of Pep's decision to leave too (not the only one of course). In the meantime Perez took crying, cheating and bitching to another level and Mou is perfect to take it forward.

I think Flick, Laporta, Yuste, the PR managers, and the other key people need to sit down together, agree on the direction they want to take, and then stick to it. The question is whether they should respond in the same way or stay calm and not react at all. But I think the key is for several people to agree on a plan and then for everyone to stick to it.

They’ll start strongly in the honeymoon phase, with a series of wins. But once the losses begin to pile up, things will quickly go downhill.

They will be very dangerous in La Liga. People underestimate how consistent Mou was in league matches.
Madrid will always be dangerous in LaLiga. They're too big for most LL clubs to handle, no matter who their coach is. This season was an anomaly, where they have disintegrated internally. So of course they will contest the league, especially with the anger of two seasons without a title.

That said, Mou has a high potentional for a shitshow, especially midseason after their honeymoon phase. If things won't go too well, it can result in another meltdown. His sporting success is pretty much non existent for nearly a decade now. He was reduced to coach, without insulting anyone, provincial teams and the only reason he comes back on the main stage is, because Madrid is desperate and have a narcissistic old fart as a president. No one else from the top clubs even considered him an alternative.

🚨 BREAKING: A FORMER Real Madrid player will be on José Mourinho's coaching staff at Real Madrid.

His job will be to stay close to the players and share the values of Real Madrid with them, after what happened this season.

His name is PEPE. @latigoserrano
