Real Madrid

Not sure how credible but:

💰
Bernardo Silva's "free" transfer will cost Real Madrid €100 million in commissions, taxes, and wages.
📋
Breakdown of the deal:
💸
€40 million signing package, distributed as follows:
▪️
€10 million net to the player
▪️
€5 million to his father
▪️
€5 million to his agent, Jorge Mendes
▪️
€20 million in taxes to be paid by Real Madrid to the Spanish treasury
💰
In addition, Real Madrid will cover a total gross salary of €60 million over 3 seasons, if the optional third year in the player's contract is activated.
📈
Bernardo Silva will earn around €10 million net per season, while the club will bear the remaining cost through taxes and financial charges.
⚪
So, while Real Madrid will not pay a transfer fee to Manchester City, they will still incur a massive overall cost to complete the deal.

Says Madrid will offer 100m while Chelsea want 140m.

I dunno, maybe we should return the favour and offer 150m...

Perez wants to fulfill Mourinho's every wish and rebuild the team for him, although it's known Mou stays only 2-3 years on average? I say let him. Perez lost the plot, we all saw that deranged press conference. They don't have oil funds behind them, so let him waste money if he wants. It'll just help us in the coming years, when our stadium will be finished and they'll be weighed down by the current spending on fees ans especially salaries.

Flick forced 2 consecutive titleless years upon them, so let them throw money around. They still have a dinosaur as coach, they still don't have a worldclass striker, they still have all the intern problems from last season that will only increase with more players.

Won't be that far off. Rational logic tells you, that if the transfer happened so quickly, it means Madrid offered him considerably more than Atleti and Barca, where he dragged the negotiations for weeks. He definitely won't be a cheap transfer, even without a fee.

What's up with giving apeasament money to parents of grown ass men, who have most of their career behind? Papa wont allow lil Benny play otherwise?

Uncle Flo is probably funding this binge with the upcoming sale of 5% of Madrid.

Will say that in order to compete need to keep selling % of the club until he goes full Donald and sells the % he acquired with a promissory note for a profit.

In reality, any sane coach would take those three signed players with open arms, and cry tears of joy in the process. Substantial increase in quality while finally properly addressing squad issues, already in mid-June. As for economic point of view. Net spend in last 5 seasons bellow 300M with wage bill sitting bellow 50% of operating revenue, being described as Madrid being weighed down financially in the future. Loco papa Flo! Loco!

Add another CB and a CM, hopefully soon as possible, and then sell sell sell. In the process you address quality and depth, internal issues and balance the books in the process if needed.

In the voice of David Attenborough:

"It is around this time of year that the Nadaplete Maribor comes out of its 6 month hibernation. Feeling safe in the summer months he wanderers around without a care in the world, flashing his tail confidently at any potential predators.

His main goal though, is to stock up on food and water, knowing full well that as soon as October comes he will need to go back into hibernation. "
