Barca should have plenty of players in this World Cup. Along the regulars: Cuba, Pedri, Olmo, Fermin, Ferran and Lamine, there are food chances for Joan, Gavi and Eric.

I think Gavi is definitely making it. Joan too.
Eric otoh hasn't been there since last World Cup, so a bit doubtful

At this point how can any madridista watch the games and be happy if their country wins LOL

What bothers more are refs protecting French, Brazilian players from the capital more than their own Spain NT players from Barca.

The Barca players have been suffering abuse at every La Liga ground, whilst fighting against referees that are trying to make them lose and letting them suffer serious potential injuries whilst protecting Brazilians playing in white.

Now those same people are expecting Barca players to break their backs playing for Spain.

If things don't go well in The States, expect Barca players to take the brunt of the blame and Lamine to be told to go back to Morocco.

If things do go well in The States, it's VIVA ESPANA !

Forgive me if I'm somewhat indifferent to how Spain do in the World Cup.

Going heavy on Barca would help them with freshness of players also.

The Spanish players in EPL have been through the ringer compared to intensity in La Liga.

Other than Lamine the Spanish players at Barca look far far fresher than those in EPL.

Nico also but like Lamine more about injury than being knackered.

Fermin is a player you want in your XI and with Nico's horrid season in terms of form and injures he might start at LW. This would also open up another spot in that stacked midfield.

Guessing 2 of Rodri, Zubi and Fabian will partner Pedri depending on the opponent. Fabian should be a given as he can crash the box and provide physique offensively. The third should be the one who completes Pedri best on the pitch.

Bernal will also join the squad but as part of 9 young(ish) players there to support the team in training.

0 players from the royal capital team.

I would go with Pubill and Cubarsi but they're not used to play together so probably Laporte will start alongside one of them.

Would love for Spain to win the WC. Will be funny for Spanish Real Madrid fans.

Also can't believe that the worst GK from the 3 will be the undisputed starter.

Not feeling Spain winning this one unless Yamal comes back flying.

Most of that Spain squad not been in all that amazing form this season or had injuries.

Lack height also in that defence and if Rodri not playing.

That's a great list and DLF did well.

Raya
Llorente Cuba Pubill Cucurella
Pedri Rodri Olmo
Nico Oyarzabal Yamal

Is their most probable lineup and it's very good

Much depends here on Yamal though. He will make the difference in big games for them

Underwhelming defense and RB. How is that "very good"?

Llorente is not underwhelming at all

The CBs are maybe the weak point but it's still two great footballers. Cubarsi despite the CL howler has had an otherwise fantastic second half of the season with Barça. Pubill been great for Atleti too
