My history is 2 posts 2 bans

Overall one month ban and missed the entire World Cup

I didn’t do anything except my usual posts, it’s clear you guys want us out so I won’t stay where I’m not wanted.

The guy posted fake generated video after one of the Argentina matches to "prove" how Messi cheated if i'm not confusing him with somebody.
 
Forum quality is up infinitely since we got rid of the full lot of them.

The general sentiment here actually feels pro Barca now, and not like we’re some third rate club.

I even think the forum activity will pick back up once the season kicks into gear and the more casual posters realize that they can actually enjoy Barca here as opposed to seeing all the activity be in the Mourinho, RM, PSG, EPL, Bumnaldo, and Lewa threads.

Just my take, if you allow Real and CR7 topics for so many years you should allow their fans to post in them. Basic rule is to give voice to the accused in court to make his case.

You can adjust the rules allowing them to post in those parts of the forum only, if people are so sensitive. And since lots of members that cry wolf are always on the Cr7 and Real topics engaging with the banned guys it means they like this kinda of engagement and trolling themselves. they will get bored with no rivals to moan about or flame with time .

I don't think you should ruin their lives if they are so invested just for a little rage bait. It's not advisable to let the forum be a safe heaven for grifters that make it tribal because once they get the blood they ask for, they will turn the forum in an eco chamber on all subjects. Reddit started with this and now it's worse than the kgb.

And since some want to eliminate rage baiting you can eliminate reactions that are used to rage bait, like laughter, you can keep only the positive ones, if you have something to say against someone you can write it down. I mean it's kinda underused for anything but trolling. God forbid you allow dislikes because then it's just low IQ banter that can eliminate any opinion by simply running them into the ground. Forums shouldn't be political in structure because politics it's not about having an opinion but eliminating your opposition and grifting. Another thing that crushed reddit is the dislike system.

The proper solution is to create a space like Cafe or in Cafe where all Real related topics enter including former players, then you can let them populate that corner and you can punish their activity with ban if they post outside that and Cafe. Plus our grifters can have a decent fight with them as they had for many years.

A place where they can fling their shit at each other without judgement. And we, the Barca fans, can now and then, go and view the zoo, to see how civilised we are compared to the rabid mob.

But they have to be caged up in their specified threads and are not allowed to pollute other areas of the Barcaforum park.

Well I got invested like 25 years ago when I wrote a critique on alternative societal spaces and how they are handled and I pointed out that forums usually employ no trained personnel to apply order hence they normalize radicalization in punishment. My point was that after they manage to move all the society online they will ban the undesirable thus excluding them from society. I argued that ban is more like a capital punishment than jail because jail doesn't exclude you from society, only death. And so by a simple trick you can kill all the disidents from a society without getting your hands dirty. And we are getting there, already social media replaced much of the RL interactions for youngs, even the vocabulary shrinks at an alarming rate.

You can't tango alone. You understand very well my point that's why you are panicking.

Considering your behavior for years the ban rule should apply to those that move the flame war from the Madrid corner into everything too, not for them leaving the space only. I mean you harras random people that trigger your PTSD. You lot want to be heroes, you want to get the credit for Messi's career for chirping memes, you want to flame, but also to get special protection.
