Worst Garros in ages. Just sucks. They should have just abolished the tournament when they inscribed Nadal's footprints.
You get a slam like this every once in a while. Happened during the big 3 era too. Seems like all the top players got burned out (except Zverev). Sinner is a fkn idiot for playing so many tournaments before RG. No one really plays both Madrid and Rome before RG unless they were Nadal. Alcaraz must be very happy.

Now 2 of them are gone. Third to follow suit. Sad.

French Open is just extremely boring in general

Clay tennis isn't the best to watch or play

The game is slow and never flows smoothly and you get sick of players sliding on the clay constantly

Watching a specialist like David Ferrer (no offense to him - a very underrated solid player) on clay is fucking torture. @KingLeo10

That's why French Open gets the lowest buzz and viewership compared to other Grand Slams

If you like watching quick, attacking tennis, grass is the best. If you like watching rallies, hard is the best.

I always talked about Ferrer's calves. People thought I was gay. One of best never to win a major prize.

This generation is full of irrelevance. From Agassi/Sampras et al to the best generation in tennis history with Fed, Nadal, and the Joker, only to be followed by Sinner, Alcatraz and some random German guy ranked third (second in the FO). Perhaps the Worst gen in modern history.

Wonderful meltdown to witness on Reddit after Zverev won. Worst people in the world over there taking another deserved L. Love to see it.

I don't think clay is bad. Best of 5 is maybe just too long, especially if it's not a grand slam final.

Sinner-Alcanaldo match at Monte Carlo a few months ago was pretty dope.

Just comparing it to grass and hard.......

Grass and hard are both very entertaining

Is Zverev him now or is there an asterisk on this slam due to his path? @Temptation

He might get a decent chance at another slam, especially if he can get the #2 seed for the next few slams and then has a 50/50 shot at avoiding Sincanaldo until the final.

Nope. Too late and Sincaraz are considerably better.

Won't get more than a couple of slams.

Zverev also has a serious mental block. Bit of a bottler.

Todd Martin was another player who had a mental block. He'd start off really strong and then end up bottling it. I even had a name for it: Todd Martin Syndrome.
