Djokovic is out because the conditions in NYC and the east coast were unplayable.
Nobody's body at 40 can endure this heat index as someone's in their 20s.

I am not too far from NYC, as I type this, today is slightly better...still, I get out to fuel and my t-shirt is all sweat.
Australia is mostly hot temps, like Arizona, and there you can breath if you find a shade. Here shade does little good.

At least Serbians had their sparkling Jewel for 20 good years now. Good for them.
They are good at team sports from football to valleyball but somehow don't achieve. However, Novak, also intelligent and with high personal culture might be their greatest ambassador in their entire history. I don't mean disrespect...I don't know about other Serbians of his World recognition statue...maybe except for Gavrilo Princip but that's not the recognition I had in mind.

Ex - Yugo countries are crazy about sports - even on this website, lot of people are from there.

Great job Shelton! But must be said Alcaraz was absolutely not 100 %. I believe he puked in the third set changeover.

Semifinals are set:

Zverev vs Khachanov: Picking Zverev in four sets. While Karen has some great groundstrokes, Zverev is better at basically everything else.
Shelton vs Tiafoe: Picking Shelton in a tough five sets. The serve seems to be on lock for him this tournament

Final prediction: Zverev over Shelton in four sets. Think this is the last time Zverev wins a GS assuming both Sinner and Alcaraz are fully healthy for AO (Think Sinner said he will play after US Open). He really should've won more of the Masters 1000 and ATP 500 tournaments this year. Don't think he would've had a better shot in his career.
