@Loki having no air conditioning in all trains and buses is criminal
The curse of living in a country that isn't hot most of the year. Nobody is going to install air conditioning for 2-3 hot weeks.

It's nothing esoteric. People constantly get cold or freez their sides due to crass temperature changes, especially in hot summer. Unless it's some really "smart" cond that adjusts temperature dynamically on it's own. See lot's of shop employees caughing and snoting in summer. A guy i know got pneumonia because had to use a car with cond that he usually didn't use. Maybe some peoples bodies are more resolute to it and fine, but as rule of thumb constantly shifting temperatures are not good

Pneumonia is caused by a viral, fungal or bacterial infection. Maybe he already had it and the cold air made it worse?

Pneumonia usually starts after getting cold and having weakened immune and respiratory system. I had it two times in my life and both triggered after i got into some bad draught or temperature contrast. Didn't react in time, kept going to work and it slowly developed into pneumonia.

From a cold (virus), sure. But you aren't gonna catch pneumonia from merely being exposed to cold air.

Guys dont visit Germany now, its waaay too hot. Cant wait until Monday when the temperature drops.
