I think a deciding factor is how old one was during the WC. For me, 2006 and 2010 were the first real WCs, so I consider them peak

As porque alluded to replace Argentina with Madrid and tell me your reaction and many others on here.

Replace x team with Barcelona not getting calls and tell me your reaction.

I don't need to look far because we've seen them before.

Again not saying the calls decide the game yesterday but Argentina have been getting more of the 50/50 calls go there way than their opposition so far this tournament.

Call is the Messi effect, the big team effect whatever it's call it's pretty clear.

If the wasn't you wouldn't be having people making videos for and against it all over the Internet.

Because I'm a Messi fan and want him to him the WC doesn't mean I'm going to act as if everything has been called 50/50 when it clearly hasn't.

I mean, we can do the same. Replace Spain with Argentina and tell me your reaction.

I still haven't heard a good argument from the post from either yourself or Jamque that I replied back to you where I posted what Egypt has done and that I provided the rules. Feel like you are just disregarding what I posted and still putting subjectivity into your posts.

I would also stay off on social media for stuff like this if you are basing your conclusion based on social media and not by the actual rules and laws.
 
Setting aside bitter cr7 fans (who were already popping a bottle of champagne) and egyptian supporters, the only real scandal is a coach who somehow managed to lose a game his team was leading 2–0 until the 80 min.

There's one round too many with this new format. There should be semis already.
In a way It's like a grand slam in tennis. You need 7 rounds to get the trophy.

Switzerland, Norway and Marocco are the ones that might offer extra excitement, if you're a dreamer type mentality.
My sentimental bids go to Norway and Switzerland...but realistically:

Marocco vs France 30/70 1: 4

Norway vs England 45/55: 1:3

Switzerland vs Argentina 35/65: 0:3

Belgium vs Spain 30/70: 0:2

Thats why they shouldn’t be facing France in any shape or form imo. I also do fear for a humbling from England but not as much as from France. People will bump this post if/when Argentina beats Eng in the semis (which I’d be so so so happy because the GOAT reaches yet anothet final) but Spain should beat France for that to be a happy scenario. The only can-sleep-peacefully match up for me is arg vs spain in the final. I did want colombia in the quarters because I felt Arg will loose but not in a bad way. If you do love Messi, you’d want him to win the world cup again but you wouldn’t want him to go out in a humiliating fashion.
