Sure, they may not tell the full story, maybe somehow provoked or not, but those after match moments don't look too good on Argentinian players. At least, from the camera angles, I've seen.

Tennis or Volleyball...even box... is more elegant in that regard. Sure some players feel frustrated after defeat but this was savage... c'mon.

I know it is not the perfect thread for this reflection...but I am watching Tour de France right this moment....
You think Pogacar will be GOAT of cycling Leo Messi style?
Marxx is like Pele in that regard....and Lance Armstrong....Diego Maradona?

At the age of what 19?!

That's a good start into adulthood.

Hopefully, he won't be overwhelmed and fuck it up...

Also, Kroos ended Pedri’s Euro 2024 run with his horrendous tackle.

Probably kickstarted Spain’s resurgence as they finally figured out the midfield

fAGGOTS. It's a fag thing. They maybe buggered each other in the evening. Normal everyday routine for demon worshippers.

tbh I was more emotionally invested in the Argentina - England game as I really wanted England to lose after how much they tried to influence the referees by inventing conspiracy theories about Argentina being favored. The amount of arrogance the English showed while being perennial losers in competitions was very startling. At least Real Madrid have their CLs to boast about. England talked so much shit just to get rocked and I’m very happy about that. As for the final, I was okay with Spain or Argentina winning

Fuck the English. Always.

That's a social media engagement 11 if I ever saw one.

FIFA joining the brainrot generation. Sad to see.

They are amateurs at it though. If they really wanted to create hours of engagement then all they need to do was add Frenkie in and tagged Jammy.

Pining.

Give us your 11
First, Messi LW and Mbappe RW is actually proof they made this XI just to bait people and get media attention, which we unfortunately give them. Martinez over Cubarsi is also exactly that. Vozinha GK is hilarious, and again a forced pick to gain sympathies of the casuals. He was good compared to what people expected of course but he was not best goalkeeper of the tournament. He had a very bad game vs Uruguay. Kobel, Dibu, Simon, Pickford all deserve it more objectively speaking.

Like I said nobody cares about this shit but it is a good example of how individual awards work. What they really care is to pick someone who will bring them attention and likes. Picking the actual best eleven would be boring.

Olise pretty controversial too. 7 assists but did nothing in games that actually mattered (Spain, Morocco, Paraguay). Missed sitters in the bronze medal game. Olmo had a better campaign overall despite the stats, don't expect them to recognize that though.

Upamecano is a debatable choice, Saliba and Laporte can easily get over him. But it's an understandable choice
