To me, there is a clear agreement between these two, that’s the only way he plays so many minutes. I do not think that any other couch would ever use him as a starter. 10 to 15 min per game at max, would be the norm for your guy. If you look close to his movement on the pitch he is most the time walking not running, not mentioning the inexistent control ball.

Yes and i think that was the reason

His goalscoring records were insane and didnt want that people say wow he is scoring like Cristiano/Lionel

But now i like him, not only because he is a barca player but also because he shows age is just a number

thats why i always support the oldies like Cristiano, Lewy, Dzeko, Perisic, Lionel and some more :)

Wow...you made me realize one thing and maybe ... maybe @freetocan is onto something.

Because he plays, there's at least a few million viewers mostly in Poland, but also Polacks like me in USA that tune in to Barcelona matches because of Lewandowski. I pay subscription to ESPN only to be able to watch Barcelona, then Paramount + to see them in CL - my dearest campaign ... Now, if Lewa is benched and sees no action...not sure about myself, if I wanted to continue subscription.

People were just scared because the status quo was threatened.


They just didn't like that a guy who isn't from the traditional Football powerhouse nations was producing Prime Messi Ronaldo numbers at every level. Similar reaction to Djokovic entering his peak and Fedal fans hating it.


At one point, RL9 had 129 goals and 29 assists in his last 99 games for Bayern. :lol: :lol: :lol:


Dude had 41 goals in 28 games in a league season where he had injury problems. :lol:
Still remember the @Rassvet posts when he was disappointed that RL9 only scored a brace. One of the main reasons I joined the forum.


Ronaldo fans including you were afraid he was gonna break the 17 CL goals in a season record(probably would have if it was a complete CL format).

I think it will be perfect to help me reminiscing all the joyful moments Robert gave me in that last 15 years or so...
I feel a tear dripping down my cheek, as I type this now... 😢

Lewandowski is nowhere close :lol:

If anything you first need to argue if he's even the best striker of his generation which included guys like Benzema, Suarez, Aguero.

You can make a case Lewandowski is, but Suarez and Benzema also have very strong cases. Especially at their peaks.
