His dribbling in small space is definitely close to a elite level. If those gene tests work and we can have him play more, who knows what he can achieve. The talent he has is very high level.

From the bench he is a great weapon.

Yeah his dribbling is great, after yamal he is the best in 1v1. Pedri is an iniesta type dribbler who doesn‘t goes 1v1 that much

What a player. His quality on the ball is world class without a doubt. He often can get away from close markers simply due to his superb first touch. Extremely few players can do this as often and as effectively. But he has to be fit in the big games.

Javier Tebas: “Dani Olmo must not finish the La Liga season with Barça. We have filed an appeal to revoke his registration.”

Not a good game today.

When Olmo and Ferran start there is little attacking energy to come off bench other than Fermin.

I wonder if Flick will use him as a sub a lot for this reason and take him on for last 30 mins when game opens up.

If he does then it will need to be Fermin/Gavi or tweaking the midfield a bit to let FDJ/Pedri get forward more and Casado plays.

Barca badly lack pace coming off the bench. They have to address that for next season but feel like been saying it for years.

Ideally you have Olmo/Fermin for AMC with 60/30, 45/45 splits. It's worked well so far. Rolling Gavi into the rotation is the issue, and it is probably better to start him and hook at 45 or 60 depending on performance than end with him in games like yesterday.

LW is a problem. I wonder if Raul Dacosta from B can do a job against the mid/low level. Fermin ain't it.
