They have certainly broken new ground with this defensive diving. Atleti defenders throwing themselves to the ground right and left trying to cancel our attacks. Ref bought it a few times but then caught on it seemed. They really are a ridiculous side at times.

Reckless, emotional defender. Atletico is the best he can do. Exactly the kind of defender that can ruin a big game for you with a terrible brainfart. Has good qualities but commits into a tackle way too easily.

I don't see atleti spending big money on another defender this summer or much money at all.
They had to sell shares this summer in order to rejuvenate the squad, likely won't happen again this summer.
Cardiouseless man will leave in the summer, which will free up lots of money on the wage bill, they will probably use that gap space to directly replace him.
