At least it's in the Americas, which history tells us gives South American sides a better chance than when in Europe. Plus Brazil have already won the World Cup in the USA.

Yes, it's superstition and not much to hold on to, but it is better than nothing.

But I can see Brazil going a long time without winning the World Cup. If they don't win it next year then they'll have gone longer than they did between 1970 and 1994. And I can see that increasing.

They aren't producing as much talent anymore (certainly not at the level of before) and their players seem more 'Europeanised' but as cheap knock-offs of a European type player. Plus the game is just becoming increasingly more athletic and professional, which doesn't suit their samba style.

I always preferred Argentina but have a soft spot for Brazil too. Hope I am wrong but really wouldn't be surprised if we get to 2042 and they still haven't won a World Cup.
What I hope happens

2026 - Argentina
2030 - Spain
2034 - Portugal
2038 - France
2042 - Argentina

If Neymar wins the WC, that would mean cunts like Vini Jr., Rodrygo and Endrick would win the WC too. I don't want to live in a world where these people win the World Cup and as much as I want Neymar wins the WC, I hope Brazil doesn't win in 2026.

Argentina 1st, then Spain 2nd.
Made me laugh, especially the bit about living in a world.

Though, to be fair, every team has cunts. I bet if you met some Barca or Argentina players you'd think a few of them were cunts when you got to know them. Just the way life is.

You can still be happy for the guys you like if Brazil win it.

There were some Barca or Argentine players who I think were cunts, but at least they're our cunts.

Vini fans can mock Yamal fans of winning the WC (Similar to the time period from 2016 - 2021 in which CR7 fans mocked Messi fans for the lack of international trophy)

Don't want to live through that again.

Regarding the FIFPro list that @Temptation posted in Lewy thread, like I said I agree with majority of the list but the fact Neymar is excluded from top 20 players in 21st century is just crazy. Then when you look at the comments few people even complain about it.

The narrative of Ney being some kind of a failed talent is a big exaggeration of his underachievement. He could have potentially became a much greater footballer than he now is, but that doesn't neutralize how great he already is and how much he has achieved and contributed in his career.

He is a Santos legend, won them a Copa Libertadores trophy while also showing outragoue skill every week, becoming a superstar then leaving for massive money. In Barça he won us the treble being the best player that season along with Messi. His performances rarely short of impressive. He went to PSG and continued with it, even improving his general play. Massive effort in 2020 to win them CL with a masterclass in final only to be let down by stupid misses and his team's bozoism.

Constant carryjob of worst ever Selecao lineups to some kind of world cup relevance with ridiculous performances on the international stage, winning the confederation cup as well. People usually shamelessly point out how he won nothing for Brazil when it would take a miracle to do it with teammates he had (injury arguably stopped him from achieving that miracle in 2014). Then there is 2022 when he scored a clutch goal basically on his own only for his teammates to do everything in their power to fuck it up as quickly as possible.

Overall I have the impression as time goes by he's starting to get more and more underrated by the football world.
It was fake

Neymar's a cunt too. Obviously, nobody is as obnoxious as Victimus, but only Raph is really okay and not just because he's currently ours. Thought Neymar a cunt, when still playing for us.

The beneficial cunt.

Used to laugh at comments when he joined the club with his skinny physique in 2013. Haters calling him a shemale.

Contrary to popular belief, Brazil actually performed better when they managed to balance between offensive and defensive. Both their win in 1994 and 2002 showed it. They still had "Samba" players in offense (Romario, Bebeto or later Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Ronaldinho) but their core were in middle and back line with rock solid players and great fullbacks.

Brazil in 2018 had serious chance to win as they were very balance. Yet Belgium still beat them.
