Absolutely woeful the other night. At some point early in the game, the clown was dispossessed in dangerous areas about three times in less than two minutes.
Overrated, PR hyped mingebag.
Fear not though - he will get on the end of a chance soon and Tempt will be back in here saying 'he's him!' or whatever other pathetic, cringeworthy Gen Z slogan is currently part of the zeitgeist.

Seen this on my travels on the forum.It's pretty stupid to only appreciate one kind of player and claim that you know more about the sport than everybody else. Narcissism 101. Ironic that you hate Ronaldo so much.
I do appreciate other types of players.
And I haven't claimed to 'know more about the sport than everybody else'. That would be deluded. Being confident in my ability to articulate a cogent argument, and feeling I understand the game and how it works to a degree, are not the same as thinking I know more than everyone else on here. Some stuff I know more about than others, some stuff they (and you) know more about than me. Everyone has different areas they know more about.
For instance I know a lot about football history and a good amount about tactics and attributes but don't follow the game at all levels enough anymore to have soul's or Messi's deep knowledge of up and coming young players. They'd destroy me on those matters, the same as you'd destroy me on how players are looked at on Twitter, or Birdy would destroy me in a stats debate. That's life.
Either way, you are a good lad and I bear no ill will. I don't wanna fight with you. I hope you read this or someone directs you to read it (as I suspect you have me on ignore).

I would pay to slap him to death, he is such an annoying cunt, totally overrated , that fucker can only run like a headless chicken and always want to score, leaving the others 2 mc alone....he wants to do it all but he does nothing, hopefully he will get a really bad injury soon enough, cant stand him, easily my most hated player in the world right now. Fellainingham needs to be out at least a year...but thx to him and the fact than he is totally useless as a MC, we will destroy Madrid two more times at least this season (hopefully a third time in the CL final)
He has the best Pr though, him and Mbappé will be the downfall of real Madrid in the last 5 years, they only play for their stats but at the end of the day they are basically useless at playing football.

More to football than stats. He does damage going the other way losing the ball three times in two minutes too.
He's always gonna get great stats cos he's that type of stats cheat player. It's the rest of his game - that you neglect to talk about - that need work.
That's not to say he's not a very good player, but you have to be fair and talk about the gaps in his game too, rather than acting like stats are the be all and end all.

But he's been an abomination in general play tonight. Shows how stupid the people judging him by his stats - and having the audacity to call other people clueless in the process - are being. He can rack up stats yes, usually in smaller games like most players. But you ask him to control a game against a team with midfield parity (or superiority in this case) and he goes missing. If they go out of the CL next week, and don't win La Liga, then those '27 goals and assists' don't count for much do they? Half of that and a better all-round performance in tonight's game would be far more substantial.
Big lesson for him and the guys who think getting in the box and scoring is enough to make a world-class player or midfielder these days.

Never said it is on him. I am saying he could have done a lot better tonight - given the arse licking he gets he should be doing a lot better - and is responsible for his own performances, as are all players.
People can't praise him when he scores then criticise the team when he falters. That's from the old Cristiano Ronaldo fanboy playbook.
You praise when do well and criticise when do poorly.
