Indeed I never claimed otherwise and for a GK to win it once is highly impressive.

He was definitely in there as Barcas best player in season won league under Xavi.

Stegen is impressive indeed. Never seen a keeper at a big club concede so much in CL from so many normal shots.

Man is the definition of a mentally frail player. Probably got his driver's licence by a minimum score.

Haha no and he is far better than likes of Mendy and others you claimed as elite and better than him few years back.. he then goes on to win league as one of if not Barcas most important player and voted La Liga player of season..

No one can even name just one do or die match in CL we were in trouble in, and he saved the day. Not even one. They have to go to some save vs Bayern while comfortably leading and after he already conceded a cheap goal by Benatia.

The defenders of this guy are something else.

Yes, and you said Coutinho was a great signing and an elite player as well for us.
What's the relevance? We're talking about ter Stegen being underwhelming for a player that's been at the club for so long.

Stegen is such a bum that if we Tek from 2015 onwards, we're sitting on 1 more CL. With just a normal level keeper, Anfield doesn't happen.

This guy concedes a goal a shot in some of the biggest games. Fucking terrorist.

Nah Bayern were pushing big time then in open game. Big save.

Also the CL goal conceded to Juventus was not a 'blunder'. Clean made up.

I said long ago Coutinho was not as good as expected him to be..

The relevance is who he has been compared to and who else has been held up as top class.. when was not the case.. he proves himself better than that and still it gets claimed.

For a supposedly elite GK he's been awful in Europe for most of his time here.
