Had two magnificent chances these past two games to kill all of the opponent's hope but his finishing is worthless. Not clutch at all

😆 🤣 😂.....have told many of you long ago.....take away the "huff and puff" and some body jamming here and there, this dude is good at nothing else.

It is no hatred. My own quality level of "Good" just happens to be higher. Simple

Games like this that are so open he was just another one of four attackers with next to no pace of play and no composure.

Barca more or less had four attackers all playing at 100mph and taking risks to go at goal as early as possible

Then at back had a defence with no organisation, little ability to pass out and 50 yds between the attack/defence and two midfielders with about 5 players on them in between that.

Awful set up tonight and didnt pay off at all.

Problem is when backline is pressed like that you only have 2 options, kick it long, or play into pressure. Unfortunately, only Pedri, Olmo, and possibly Pablo Torre have the profile to control and turn under pressure. We really need to increase the minutes of Torre compared to Fermin imo. See how he does with more minutes.

The issue is made worse when Araujo and Gerard are poor on ball and more or less have around 2 passes they can make and panic if not on.

Kounde is poor on the ball a lot also and can makes bad decisions when pressured.

Then you have a front four who all played high up park and not one of them tried to put foot on ball and bring game up park.

It looks in last few games that Flick may be trying to take pressure off the front three legs by allowing them to stay up park a bit more and force open game if opposition dare to press.

Did it last week v Dortmund and v Leganes.

Trouble is you are asking a lot of midfield when teams still press and take that risk

Need Pedri/FDJ deep and Olmo in AM to have a chance to play like that and offer options other than down the fucking line to front three or into feet of Fermin who has one setting and loses it a lot.
