Probably needed loss mentally. We looked way too cocky.
Agree about the team being not talented enough for half assing it (opposed to 14/15 MSN vs Bayern for example - very similar game imo). But eh, completely irrelevant game.
Going 100% and ruining the rest of our season would be bad as well.

True about the 100% but we needed more than this effort. We deserved to blow our lead basically. We were that bad.

Abysmal performance. If they'd botched it, the club could as well be disbanded for good.
On the other hand, this was p much the only safe match to lose in this stretch of the season with the added bonus of humility and self awareness to both players and Flick. There's much work to be done yet to deem themselves as "being back". Good XP bonus and hopefully some added hour in front of drawing board before the final heat.

More shots and more shots on goal for Dortmund. And finally, the same amount of regular goals. With a functioning VAR it would have been 3 all.
