Hoped Lewandowski will play normal with Yamal, for the sake of the team. Now seems doesn't scream but won't serve either, can't say for sure yet though, we'll see.

Good game. Zero service. Held it up well, retained the ball and recycled possession. Defended corners very well and always showed up for the ball.

He tried, fought. No goal but he had a few interesting passes. Lack of support in attack from others. When passing to Fermin he could have chosen better - Yamal, or passed earlier. There is no point in nitpicking, physically he looked better than Raphinio and Yamal - but what do I know, CatalinR10 is an expert so let's give him a say.

That contract that laporta drafted for him was almost going to be perfect in hindsight. If not for that bloody +1 activation clause from the player side. Some games he is as good as if there were nobody in his position.

In matches likes this he shouldn't even start or be subbed at half time/or be super sub at 70th. He can't press against laliga park-the-bus fodder so against ultra pressing and physically aggressive and fit team like BvB, especially in circumstance like these, he should've been replaced by p much ANYONE younger and faster simply for suppression purposes. Never even needed a goal, just not let them score, which is impossible to do while playing one player less in defense in Vestfalen.

Yeah in games like these Torres starting could be a better option. Especially knowing Lewy a bit low motivation, potentially Raphinha and Yamal too. We needed legs today. Not scoring really.
