At the rate our players are dropping, we'll become underdogs in 4 days.
Two starters out yeah

One more out and I'll be less optimistic for sure

But I believe we'll find a solution for Balde (not Martin) and I find Ferran an acceptable replacement for Lewa

Hansi Flick on the 4-3 win: “It's a big comeback. One game less, three points more. I'm proud that we won. The win was very important. It wasn't easy after going 1-3 down. It's great to see that we never give up. It was tough, we tried everything to get the three points. When you win, you like games like that. We played against a great team. It was no surprise that we had to suffer so much. They are a great team and they have a great coach. I'm really happy with how we reacted after going 1-3 down. The team never gives up, that's the mentality. It was great. The mistakes we made were hard to watch. But in the end, we gave everything. We deserved it. The mentality and attitude were incredible.”

... on double goalscorer Raphinha: “I never look at penalties. He was very important today. He struggled a bit at halftime. I told him we needed him to stay positive. He did a great job.”

Lewa, Balde, and Casado might prove to be too big losses to get a CL title. HUGE transfers needed in the summer to get a squad that can play the full season in a grueling schedule. More rotations needed next season.

Agree but where's the money?

Would a CL win bring in the cash?
The squad still needs alot of improvement. We need another full back, a cb and a cf. And that's just for starters. In all likelihood we are probably only getting a full back and maybe Tah on a free.
We are making too many mistakes at this stage of the season but maybe it's just a blip.
I love the mentality though. It's exactly what was required. Under Xavi we looked soft. It's not easy to make these comebacks. We've done it against some good teams.
I still think CL may be a step too far. Before the season started I said a CL semi with a good performance would be a W for Flick. I stand by that.
If we can win the league that would be huge.

Flick's Barca, with these set of players (or lack of) massively over-performed. What we are witnessing is nothing short of miracle.

Wheels are falling off now with this fatigue and injuries but it's been overdue.

Don't think Barca can again start firing from all cylinders as there is no time to rest and reset in this schedule and with so little options.

At this moment, because we reached the Semis, we are owed 115m.
This summer, we should be at the 1:1. If Tebas doesn't pull any shenanigans.

We were able to spend for a player around 60m last summer, with less revenue and not having reached 1:1 rule.
We should be able to spend at least 70m this summer and with some departures, it can be even more.
That should get us some valuable backups in almost every position if we spend wisely.

The fans shouldn't worry about whether we have the money, they should be worried if Fatporta and Deco are wise enough to spend it frugally or go Barto style.

Don't underestimate motivation. Motivation was high vs Dortmund in the 4-0 and we looked fast and dangerous with our attacks.

At this point in the season, it's perfectly fine to struggle in the league but get the win, even if close.

We managed to give some time off to Pedri and Lamine in the last week. Job done.

We can rest players vs Mallorca as well and get the 3pts.

Exactly what I wanted to say.

I don’t think fatigue is the end of us. Lamine already looked fresh. Raphinha played best game in while. Maybe next subbing off Frenkie early is good idea.

But not having Balde is the issue.

Yeah, will need to see other players vs Mallorca. Torre, Araujo, Fort, they can help in these games. We are running out of time to explore other solutions to Martin fellow. Would be criminal to keep playing him there after the horror show vs Celta. Just plant a fast CB there like Araujo and be done with. At least you can limit the issues defensively.

Would rather play with 3 at the back than give any minutes to Martin for the next couple of games.
Martin should not play, and we don't have any credible LBs on the team. So would rather practice and get used to playing 3 at the back for the remainder of the games.
It's an automatic handicap and 1 less player with Martin on the pitch. No way he plays against Inter.

He'll need to find a balance in the next season to keep the team fresh enough for the crucial part. In München, his second year was also worse in defense, as his football demands an insane amount of running, pressing and effort to close the gaps and win back the ball as fast as possible, so your opponent can't expoit your high back line. With today's criminal schedule, it's even more difficult to maintain it over a season and repeat it in the next one.
We definitely need a bigger squad to rotate and Flick also needs to find games where he can take the foot from the gas. That will define the success of next season.

His poor squad utilization is catching up with him and the players both on and off the pitch.

He's the coach so he sees them in training, true.

But the players are professional level players and know what they are doing in training.

Always two sides to a story.

Minutes could have been better distributed this season, players getting the full 90, when games are done and dusted, like kounde and yamal doesn't make sense.

But it's too late now, we have to just get it across the line and reset in the summer.
