He lost the line in the first minute, Mallorca could have scored there. Had another couple of bad positioning mistakes.
I don't think Gerard Martin looks worse than him if he starts today.

It's a shame he wasn't given the chances given to Martin even in the left side. As the game developed he actually looked more confident .

Mallorca challenged no one defensively and sat off all night.
Still can see how much better on ball than Gerard he is easily.

He needs to play more regularly or at least go out on loan to Como next season

Fans using him being out of sync with the offside trap is just silly to the highest level.
It's his first start in months and this back 4 has never played together before, of course he's not going to be clicking with the line 100%.
But he was no worse than Martin defensively and 10x better offensively.
We saw what martin would do today if he had started, when he came in, it was the same performance defensively and much worse offensively, dude can't even pass the ball straight without it taking a few bounces before getting to it's intended target.
