In their case Courtois is clearly a better GK than Lunin and a true match winner as proven before. The upside is a lot bigger than Marc vs Tek where Mats hasn't proven anything in CL since 10 years.

It's a gamble in both cases because the reserve has done well. But Courtois' situation is much easier to defend than Mats'.

The debate between mark and stegen means one thing. We need a world class goalkeeper, we don't have one.

That's the main issue here.
