    9 - Robert Lewandowski

That was an interesting opinion but I disagree on his lower level of dedication with the previous teams. I found him always emotionally vested 100% for BVB, Bayern and now for Barcelona, especially when his role in the team was emphasized as critical. He could be more joyful about Barcelona...

    CL Round 3: Barca - Bayern 4-1

I think it is 50/50 with an advantage of the home play. They might have a slightly higher edge on the aspect of more experienced players but that's all I can think of. Barcelona has more talent and vigourness to show their worth on the European stage. I predict 3:2 win for Barcelona, where...

La Liga Round 10: Barca - Sevilla 5-1

Yes, I do. It's a gimmick. I'd prefer they replaced it with a redesigned, World Cup and Euro qualification format of more matches, where every match would have a direct impact on the final outcome. Similarly to the World Cup qualifications in South America. Maybe, this way, more of those games...

A "normal" athlete would end his NT career at this age but evidently, perhaps rightfully too, he is confident about his physio-mascular durability. Now, if you look at his career, all the clubs he played for, the money they spent on him was worth every penny, also on the account of him rarely...

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

A thought; If a player at 36 decides not to end his NT play, especially, after a fiasco in a major event (Euro 2024), it means he thinks of the next major campaign (WC 26). End of thought. Otherwise what's the point of breaking sweat for these Nations Leage games? As soon as March, they'll...

I thought about that Poland - Portugal game yesterday. Initially, after the game, I was pissed off big time but with a cooler head, I'd say, they had a few good moments, had they only been able to utilize...but they did not, so shame on them. Robert's play was poor, no doubt, but such his...

Let's, on that occasion, show solidarity with Wojtek and smoke a Marlboro red...😉

Meanwhile, Szczęsny having fun right before Poland vs Portugal Nations Leage match.

Wojtek is just being polite...anwsers questions when asked. The fact of him being overconfident, almost arrogant is another thing.

Poland in Quatar WC was the ugliest playing team...where Lewandowski hardly got any juicy shot. The team was, rightfully, criticized left and right. Now, did it not coincide with his form drop for the club immediately after?

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

Oh yeah, he's mature enough a player to know better than to bitch and moan if he doesn't get to touch the ball too much in this upcoming game. The important thing is, he has always been vocal on the significance of playing for Poland. Of course, Poland losing against Portugal won't be much to...

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

Besides, There's an important psychological element; Lewandowski scores an important; winning or drawing goal for Poland against Ronaldo's team, not a consolation tap in or a PK, then his morale goes up exponentially. That has a direct leverage on his confidence and, potentially, the performance...

"We"...you mean you, your little sister and mama? It is important for his fan base. I don't care about Nations Leage but to me, Poland vs Portugal is always an epic game, I look forward to it just as much as the game against Bayern. Clear?

Let's see how he does against Portugal tomorrow. I think Ronaldo will play too. Been awhile since he scored a goal for the NT against a top shelf team.

    25 - Wojciech Szczęsny

Not like he was begging for the job. Better question to ask; why a club of this statue is reaching for a bum out of all poeple who are goalkeepers?

    25 - Wojciech Szczęsny

the way I read some of these recent posts; he a smoker, and that makes him a bum...(?!?)...He's a goal keeper in his 30s, not an altar boy.

I, too, think it was about fulfillment of his ambitions than anything material. I think playing for a Turkish club or being a sub in a premier league would be too detrimental to his self esteem. Playing for FC Barcelona, while Lewandowski, his pal, is there too, would have been too much to pass on.

Of course, it does not matter in any form or fashion. I was just reflecting on the phenomenon... For instance, look at Zlatan, he's himself, always natural, never pretends. And, most importantly, so much fun to watch even off the pitch.

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

That was just a trivia...lol Lewandowski is too much regarded as an esteemed public figure in Poland...not just an accomplished Athlete. I guess, I'd like to see some of his true character sometimes...he got into fights with teammates at BVB and Bayern...he can be a bad ass but on TV he looks...

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

Been watching some TV sport news, also those comming from the Poland's NT camp... What gets me about Robert - that's for those who don't speak or understand polish - is that he always appears so dull on those media conferences. Unlike, for instance, Szczęsny, always witty and enjoyable to listen...
