La Liga | Round 28: FC Barcelona - Osasuna 4-0

If you don't see faults in his game lately you either don't watch or you can't understand. I literally said I was satisfied with the midfield, you could quit with your petty, rude, ignorant, tunnel-visioned picking on my posts, it only shits up the threads and the chat, and I won't address it...

Maybe he is working on his touch and vision

La Liga | Round 28: FC Barcelona - Osasuna 4-0

And I remember for some reason that Ronaldinhos nice juggling+half bicicleta goal was vs Osasuna, but away it must've been because it was in these silver shirts iirc. I can't remember ever feeling any respect for Osasuna tbh.

La Liga | Round 28: FC Barcelona - Osasuna 4-0

Maybe we might see Luuk a bit earlier then, with maybe one or two bicycle kicks... I guess Dest, Frenkie, Adama, Luuk and Depay might feature from the bench.

La Liga | Round 28: FC Barcelona - Osasuna 4-0

Decent lineup, I like the defence and midfield, but would much rather have Traore than Dembele. I wonder if Pedri will be switched off, I am pretty certain both Nico and Frenkie will be subbed on. Might let Gavi take a step up then too, of course...

    Xavi Hernández

Yeah, but if he was more alert he'd be having the reaction after Elche, and not let on a team v. Galatasaray where half the players were rotations and anyone would believe from the start that it wouldn't really function. I am beginning to have the same criticisms wrt Pedri that I had under...

    Memphis Depay

He won't become any better, but his reputation might still change a lot. It already did just in the last months, because he played decently in a few games in Barcelona whereas he was struggling at Wolves. His game is simple but can be hard to defend against. With the right role in the right team...

    8 - Pedri

A shame his full speed makes Busquets seem fast
  9. Bobo32

    Adama Traore

Don't think he is rested, but Dembele is being phased in and taking the spot even though he is worse.

    Adama Traore

He is more one-dimensional than I would have thought, and that's the key to why he has been playing so great. He is faster than anyone, and is a good dribbler, he is playing perfectly when ONLY attempting to dribble and cross first chance or otherwise play very safely - then on top of that he...

    Daniel Alves

He seems to be almost as loyal to some players as Koeman was tbh. I don't really like it, but prefer Peps way of using the entire squad while never tolerating poor-average performances. I think yesterday was a BIG step backwards for Xavis Barcelona, I was so positive after the previous game...

    Daniel Alves

It is better when Araujo routinely beelines for the corner flag diagonally and gets beaten, leaving a freeway towards the goal :) No it is correct geometrically to move parallell with the sideline when trailing, or anytime in a counter rather.

    6 - Gavi

Gavi at LW yesterday, and the game was pretty terrible, and Gavi completely invisible. I thought the reason was more to do with a sleepy team than bad tactics, but it's always hard to tell. I'd rather try Gavi at midfield in HT when Torres came on, to sub either Pedri or Frenkie who were both...

    Memphis Depay

Goals count as goals, but if you compare the amount of goals scored between players, especially inside one team, it is very unfair to count the penalty goals. If Marc Andre ter Stegen was the penalty taker for Barcelona, he'd have scored around 4 goals too, but I don't think anyone would call...

    Memphis Depay

A won pen should be counted as an assist. The defender waving with his hand close to the edge of the area yesterday with Depay already on his way to take the corner is not really a "won penalty" though, that was just a mistake by the defender, and partly a msitake by the ref and/or the law makers.

    Memphis Depay

Not at all undervalued, as these goals are regularly valued as equal to other goals while they clearly are not. I think he missed some in the NT, lowering his actual number, but his 93,75% does not make much difference, if Barcelona let someone with a terrible 71,3% conversion rate take them...

    Memphis Depay

? Can you find and quote where I said anything remotely close to that? Maybe I was drunk and fooled around sometime, because I don't think you'd LIE! :) Depay has looked much better and quicker than before in these two short appearances, but I don't hope he gets any more minutes, all the...

La Liga | Round 27: Elche - FC Barcelona 1-2

I agree with 50% of that post maybe. I am not a fan of Depay. Anyone who rates Busquets gain some points for me though, while anyone bashing Busquets first chance is looked at with extreme suspicion.

    La Liga 2021/22

Ok. Barcelona are fresher and I think they'll win. If Barcelona play like they should play from here, they will take the 2nd place at minimum. I am sure if you do the count on avg points lately you'll see that, and then you factor in inherent class of the squads too, and that Barcelona clearly...

    Nico Gonzalez

I don't know about that, didn't notice the difference. He likes space, and needs space to turn into. He is playing a bit too much on intuition for my liking while his intuition isn't close to perfect. He too often turns into pressure or fails to notice the right continuation, but I like some of...
