    Penal Madrid

Dude we are kidding ourselves if we deny that Mbappe is at least a top 3 player in the world. The only squad in the world at the moment that can rival Real Madrid's is City, which is considerably consisted of oldies (KDB, B.Silva, Walker etc), while Real have many players that (in theory) have...

    Penal Madrid

Sure they have had help from the refs (many times blatantly so), but you don't win 6 CLs in 11 years just thanks to the refs. We try to discredit the di Stefano era (even more rightfully so), but just this century: Inter Milan 1 Manchester United 1 Manchester City 1 Chelsea 2 AC Milan 2...

    Penal Madrid

Thing is, that winning the threepeat is arguably more impressive than winning the treble. The only team that is above the 2016-2018 Madrid in recent history is 2009-2011 Barca, no one comes close. Even this current team has won the double in 2 of the last 3 seasons, this is some historic stuff...

Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi V2

Amazing compilations, most of these highlights are quite rare. Arguably a top 5 season of his. Also one of the most beautiful Barca kits ever (keep it simple ;) )

David Villa vs Lewa vs Henry

Dude people age up. Due to injuries, Villa's career as an elite striker was over in late 2011. And ofc he was used as a winger under Pep (to great results, as it further opened up Messi as a false 9, no one is denying that).

David Villa vs Lewa vs Henry

I think that Henry in 2008/09 >= Villa in 2010/11. Both of them were sadly more or less irrelevant in the rest of the seasons. Though if Villa did not get injured in 2011/12, it is an interesting what if, maybe we would have won La Liga and/or CL. He would be certainly be an upgrade compared to...

    Premier League 23/24

Funny thing though, this team barely won any Serie A against Juventus and Inter Milan, which also had stacked rosters. Even in the CL, the obviously went to 3 finals in 5 years (winning 2) + the semis vs us in 2006, but also had 2 historic choke jobs in 2004 and 2005.

    Premier League 23/24

Dude you are missing the point. Ofc Aston Villa is more physical and have more advanced tactics compared to let's say Real Madrid in 2002, just like that team was better in this regard compared to teams in the 80s. You have to look every era on its own. What we are saying is that back then (I...

    Premier League 23/24

European football is simply in decline for a variety of reasons, making just 'good' teams like for example Arsenal stand out. Almost every European giant is in decline with only a few exceptions. The fact that the worst Bayern in 15 years, a meh PSG (compared to the Ibra and Ney/Mbappe teams)...

    Premier League 23/24

It may be the nostalgia talking, but there is no way that this is the 'golden age' of the Premier League  Yes maybe the bottom half teams are better than any other league, but the top half teams are repeatedly getting humiliated in Europe. Even the Europa League tends to be won by Spanish...

What if: which game would you like to relive hoping to change the outcome?

Dude in the Inter game we literally had 4 good chances: 1)Pique goal 2)Bojan correctly disallowed goal 3)Bojan missed header 4)Messi run and curl-shot That‘s it. A lot had to do with great defense (maybe allowed by the refs) and with Ibra fucking up the link-up play big time. In 2012 vs...

PL wide open, if Pep wins his 6th in 7 years in this fashion, then I have no words anymore  Likewise if Liverpool lose the 3rd PL in 6 years for a few points

Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi V2

Btw Wenger claimed that Leo is the GOAT back in 2010 (not in 2011) iirc. Watching some highlights between 2009/10 and 2011/12, you can understand why. Although he was a more complete (2014/15) or more influential (2018/19) player in other seasons, the raw ability in early 2010s is simply unmatched.

    Premier League 23/24

Barca vs. Real in the calendar years 2011 and 2012 was peak football and peak rivalry. (the whole period between 2010 and 2018 was great, but that was undoubtedly the peak of the rivalry). They played each other like 13 teams in 2 calendar years and most of those games are classics. At no point...

Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi V2

Dude you are embarrassing yourself. Leo left Barca in very strange circumstances, aged 34. Realistically he could only go at one club that could cover his wages and tolerate his playing style (I mean no defense, which is a must in CL). First season was bad, second one was ok. If you want to go...

Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi V2

I don't understand this short of thing. Is he giving away replicas or the OG B'Dors? If he is doing the latter, does that mean he has no B'Dors at home?

    José Mourinho

Tbf Mou did belong among the 3-4 best managers in the world between 2004 and 2015, that's impressive. He defined this era of football. However, his longevity cannot be compared to guys like SAF, Ancelloti, Pep or even Wenger.

2nd place sounds nice, but he did have a 15-point differential compared to City
