    7 - Ferran Torres

Denis Suarez tier. At least Denis was cheap.

    10 - Ansu Fati

    Superb finish.

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

Bit disappointed in his link up game. Losing many balls. Almost as many as Suarez used to lose.

    7 - Ferran Torres

Come on Xavi. Heavy stepper Memphis would do better on the wing.

    7 - Ferran Torres

Even worse than I feared when club bought him. And I didn't have high expectations. Only hope was that he'd be decent as a 9 but his scoring streak was just a one hit wonder. Never thought he'd do well as winger. Not fast and technically very bad for a Spanish offensive player.

    Ousmane Dembélé

Well, Barca is not a CL contending team, so here we go. Sorry to break the news to you: Barca and Dembele are a perfect match and deserve each other.

    Ousmane Dembélé

He was fun to watch yesterday and had a really great game. Despite playing defensively, Bilbao left lots of space between defense and midfield and didn't manage to play as a compact unit. That's exactly the space Dembouz thrives in. Unfortunately, Bayern will play as a compact unit.

La Liga Round 11: FC Barcelona - Athletic Bilbao 4-0

4-4-2 to pay homage to Ernie?
  9. behindbrowneyes

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

In the end having a player that scores reliably against sides like Plzen or Cadiz is good for Barca because this way the club should be able to compete for La Liga until the end. Don't see Barca competing with top teams in CL with or without Lewa this season. Been gone from the top for way too...

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

    All eyes on him tonight.

    23 - Jules Kounde

I knew he was fast, but damn is this guy quick on his feet.

La Liga Round 3: FC Barcelona - Real Valladolid 4-0

Love to see Alba getting benched for Balde.

    Miralem Pjanic

Looks good. Great decision. If only his legs were as young as he looks now.

    Xavi Hernández

Club invested lots of money in the squad. Xavi has to deliver now. Squad looks good on paper, but making it click as a team stands on another page.

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

Exactly. Never had that quality depth at #9 position and heavily overplayed Suarez in his prime instead. Having Mesa and Auba is an advantage

    11 - Raphinha

Hope he doesn't end up like Malcom, who had a stunner against Madrid too.

    11 - Raphinha

Guess I'm just tired of hearing Catalan press spouting 'player only wanted Barca and refused better offers to join the club' even if it might be true this time.

It is true and I think Laporta and Alemany are doing a great job in doing so, being frugal and making the best out of the situation. But make no mistake. Club had always issues with money management and the sole reason for them working so great is due to La Liga's strict stance on salary cap...
