    Alexis Sanchez

Xavi is contributing a lot to those extra unnecessary midfield passes.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

and just a nice reminder for the occasional complainers ;) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BK2wEPjygr8&list=PL1Kdc1QJLysCXGLC53WP88KM4DPBGPoN3

    Andrés Iniesta

One reason I am still excited to watch Barca. His touch and control are just phenomenal.

    Andrés Iniesta

Results son, results is what matters these days.

    Daniel Alves

.. will never sell this guy atleast not this season. But this is me. Too much quality to let go especially if we are going to rely on folks like Montaya. More than compensates for his occasional bone head defending. What about that pressure towards the end on the opposing keep?

    Alex Song

and my biggest problem with any player in that position. Poor reading of the game and positioning. Find myself screaming "dude move....."

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

... almost half the first team, damn. That would hurt any manager.

    Pedro Rodriguez

True for Alexis although this is the wrong thread. The skill is there. The touch is there and he has created brilliant moments for us. He also still has time on his side. If we need to accommodate for his style by slightly altering the way we play, I am all for it. I think if we identified...

    14 - Javier Mascherano

I disagree. I think technically, they are both on par. However, Masch has better positional intelligence which makes him more suited. If given the chance, I think Masch will be overall better, especially since he has played defense for a while now within the system.

    14 - Javier Mascherano

Song has horrible positional awareness. This is his biggest shortcoming and is very hard to teach. So I will sell Song instead of Masch.

    14 - Javier Mascherano

Agreed whole heartedly. Mascherano has 100% better positional awareness than Song. And this is key for fluidity. It would be a major mistake to sell Mascherano. Play him as CDM and buy some defenders.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

Messi, king as always. He and Iniesta are the reason I look forward to a Barcelona game. Otherwise, I do not know just how much tolerance I would have for this team's poor performance.
  14. E

    Alexis Sanchez

Well said. Frustrating player. I do not typically know what to say. Has great moments, has good potential but damn, cannot be relied upon to finish. Still should not be sold.
  15. E

    Alexis Sanchez

... but we need finishers dammit :) frustrating to see chance after chance getting blown into the water when this is exactly what has been costing us trophies. What good are forwards if they cannot finish simple chances? I could have put that Pedro's chance away if this is what I do...

    Cesc Fàbregas

Makes me wonder too, how people come up with decisions.
  17. E

    Cesc Fàbregas

    Well spoken.
  18. E

    Cesc Fàbregas

if Cesc is not good enough to play the Xavi role, then he should be considered sell-able. But, before going that route, who else is out there on the market that is better suited than Cesc to play the Xavi role? IMO, I think he should not be sold and should get into a serious fitness regime...

    Xavi Hernández

Well, what should we be expecting? Results it is. This is still one of the best teams out there and for them not to show any significant achievement is enough reason for us the fans to complain. Complaining does not mean throwing the team under the bus.
  20. E

    Xavi Hernández

We do not know the context but Tata should not be screaming. Also, Xavi did the right thing. You do not scream back at your manager.
