Transfers and Rumours - old thread

I'm sure that Samuel's positioning and awareness could be very useful for a team who is defending deep, but even if Martino is some kind of a magician, he can't possibly bring speed and pace out of him.

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

The big difference is that he played under Martino for Newells, so Martino should know pretty good what he's bringing here. Which, of course, does not guarantee success in the end. But at least is a little bit assuring.

If he's THE ONLY defender we're going to sign this summer, then I PRAY TO ALL OF THE GODS he's good.

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

Actually yes, I think he will be worse. Because he's probably five times slower than Bartra, I guess. And yeah, it would be another great example how we treat our canteranos in the last year - we sign a 35-years old Walter Samuel to take Marc Bartra's minutes. Great, really great. Maybe Thiago...

How exactly you do expect Samuel to fit in your defense? Are we going to defend deep now? How is Samuel going to keep our back during counter-attacks?

This fool Tancredi is making the rumour realistic in Twitter. Should I be worried?

Gerardo Martino, new coach of FC Barcelona

He has my full support. I'm actually kinda excited to see what he'll bring to the table. I think the board made a risky, but a worthy decision. Enrique was somehow the comfortable option, but Tata looks like a whole different level above him. I think Barca was in need for a decision like that...

Who should be the next Barca coach?

Maybe a pep talk like this could finally make Alexis a more confident player?

Who should be the next Barca coach?

Lucho is a character and his voice is going to be respected in the dressing room. My only concern is if he's prepared enough tactically to lead a team like Barca.

Who should be the next Barca coach?

I just found a quote of De Boer saying that he doubts that Messi and Neymar could work together. That's bad :/

Who should be the next Barca coach?

I think De Boer is our man, really. It's just what the market is offering right now. It's really limited of options and De Boer would be one of the safest to go. He has proven success in the last three season (dominating the league with Ajax), he knows the club and he's a dutch. And we all know...

Who should be the next Barca coach?

Marca claims we made a contact with Tata Martino. He's a free agent now.

Who should be Barca's RW next season?

Tello would be a disaster as a RW. He's going to look like the most limited player in history of football.

Who should be the next Barca coach?

If it comes to De Boer or Bielsa, I'd go for De Boer. I have an enormous respect for Loco Bielsa, but he's just insane and unpredictable.

Who should be the next Barca coach?

"He could be" does not mean "he is", right? Or in other words, RAC1 are guessing the obvious thing - he could be contracted, he could be not.
