Why would any top player with ambitions ever want to join this United? No wonder Frenkie would rather get spit on in Barcelona than join that lot. Ronaldo and Varane ruined their careers moving there and reckon only mercenaries will agree to go there until something major changes.

Imagine going into a third consecutive season with McTominay and Fred as starters and expecting to compete for anything. Relegation level midfield. Bruno and Rashford have looked like Sunday league players for a while as well. Is Varane really not good enough to get into this side?
