    Andrés Iniesta

Well, that's ugly. Maybe I was wrong. Still, in that rivalry, is there anyone who hasn't gotten involved in a scuffle of some kind?

    Gerard Piqué

Wow. If that was his first one... what will the next one look like? :amazed:

    Jordi Alba

I actually like what I've seen from Montoya, but we'll never know until he sees the pitch more regularly.

    Andrés Iniesta

I'm not going to lie, I've always kinda liked Ramos. He seems to be one of those genuinely nice guys, modest and respectful. You know... nothing like Pepe.

    Defender for next season?

That is reasoning I can agree with, depth has been a concern. But if it's depth they need to address, getting a big signing wouldn't seem to make sense unless you can find time on the pitch for all four, which seems impossible. A smaller signing would seem more appropriate.

    Barca signs Jordi Alba

Great video, can't argue with that. And it's true that those two have ridiculous chemistry... but I think the point he was trying to make is the concept of Messi on the right linking with him all the time is pretty much gone. They're fewer and far between compared to how it used to be, and...

Couldn't have said it better myself. Very pleased with Jordi's play in the Euros, should be a great addition.

    Defender for next season?

Wasn't the figure that was being tossed around earlier 30 mil? 26 mil doesn't seem too far off...

    Barca signs Jordi Alba

He looked great against Portugal. I was most impressed with the energy he displayed at the end of extra time... plenty left in the tank after playing the entire match defending against Nani.

Record profit of 40 million euros

Couldn't agree more. And it's going to pay dividends. If they continue to climb out of the red faster than Real Madrid, that will give a huge long-term financial advantage both in the transfer market and from an overall organizational standpoint going forward.

    Defender for next season?

Awesome, thanks for pointing that out. I hadn't seen that. I guess my main question would be... why in the world don't I hear more about him when people are talking about how we need to improve our back line? I mean, we have Dani at RB. That's set in stone, obviously. Our LB spot is up in...

    Fernando Torres

This. He's looked like absolute trash.

    Defender for next season?

Speaking of Masch, am I the only one who thinks he was probably the best defender on the field for the last half of the season? I can't even begin to remember all of the times I was watching a match and thought, "Wow. There's another great tackle by Mascherano. He's playing out of his mind."...

Dani Alves: "I want to stay"

It's a fine line. It's a manager's job to know how to walk that line carefully, inspiring the player and making them hungry to improve without letting them become frustrated with criticism. Until last season, where something seemed to be just a little off with a few players, it looked like Pep...

    Hello all!

Greetings from a fanatic Barca fan here in the U.S. Mainly joined up here to partake in the tranfer rumor discussion to try and help with my Barcelona withdrawal during the offseason. The Euros are helping... but it's just not as awesome as watching them take the field at Camp Nou. Can't wait...
