It took 3 years for Juve to go from plans to opening. I think the first somewhat detailed plans for Roma started appearing summer 2014. As of now, they are still reviewing infrastructure issues including potential flooding from the Tiber.
I think Elia is kind of fragile emotionally. He obviously has talent, he just has to feel appreciated and play in a system that suits him. Koeman mentioned after the game that Elia should fit right in to Southampton's style of play.
Adama and Rafinha were a class above everybody else. Halilovic seems so small but he made a good move and got off a nice shot that hit the post. Some thug defender isn't going to appreciate getting faked off his feet and is liable to take the kid to the cleaners.
I thought he handled his lack of success at Chelsea well considering the pressure he was under. If anybody is going to score for Atletico, I'd rather it be him.
Sometimes you just put so much pressure on yourself, the easiest things become impossible. The fans are against him, especially with Harry Kane piling up goals, that he should leave in June.
