La Liga mid-table and small teams often tend to defend better, and be more tactically conservative astute, than PL teams really. Look at how England's midtable teams can't impose themselves on Europe to the extent that Spain's midtable teams often do.

Barcelona leads La Liga, I repeat, with 19 goals scored and 1 conceded. I'm not talking about the team Klopp inherited at Dortmund. I'm talking about how he won two Bundesligas in a row, while pathetic in Europe in those two seasons. In the 2011-2012 season, Borussia Dortmund won their second...

I'm realistic. Barcelona isn't on a tier above Arsenal at this point.

This is just not true. I've seen good ideas from Xavi all this time. There are plenty of Barcelona games that showed these ideas, like the one against Bayern in the UCL. Or the 4-2 against Atl?tico. Or the 4-0 against Real Madrid. Or the 4-1 against Napoli. In fact, I saw a tactical improvement...

I think Xavi is not an amazing coach yet, but he is far from terrible either. He is still lerning. Give him time like Arsenal gave to Arteta. Arteta was often criticized even more harshly than Xavi is being by you guys now.

Barcelona wasn't bad in the second half. Pedri had a great chance to put Barcelona back into the game. What happened is that Bayern is a team that can sucker-punch anyone, and that-'s what happened. That match was celebrated because Barcelona was on equal footing, and even dominated at some...

Busquets had been doing a great season. It's easy to say this with hindsight.

And you still haven't adressed Arteta at Arsenal. Or how Klopp finished third and last place in two UCL group stages in the same seasons he won two Bundesligas in a row for Dortmund. Even Cruyff got a lot of backlash for some time at Barcelona, he wasn't an instant sucess as a coach. He had...

You have terrible memory. Barcelona's football was great in all games in the current season before the international break. Have you already forgotten the football shown against Bayern? And Barcelona declined last season after the international break and injuries. And you still haven't...

One wouldn't think Barcelona is leading La Liga. Spanish supporters are the worst. I remember the cries for Ancelotti to be fired many times in the last season, for example. Specially after the loss against Sheriff, and also the loss against PSG in the UCL's first leg, with the team being very...

This is just not true. The football under Xavi has been great in most games, including the current season. Everyone wanted Arteta fired last season, specially after Arsenal's embarassing start, but they are now being rewarded for it.

Xavi is not a terrible coach, let's not overreact. He is decent, and let's not forget that Barcelona leads La Liga. He is just not good enough for Europe yet. Look at how Klopp won two Bundesligas in a row for Borussia Dortmund, but embarrassingly fell out of UCL's group stage in those same two...

You know your greatest team ever was a result of hiring Guardiola instead of Mourinho, a decision that was insanely criticized back then?

La Liga Round 7: Mallorca - FC Barcelona 0-1

Jesus, so many of you guys are so over-critical. It's like Barcelona can't ever have a bad day. Did you guys watch City vs. Borussia Dortmund in the UCL? City was at least as horrible as Barcelona was against Mallorca. All teams have days like that, players are human. Barcelona has played great...

How would you rank Xavi's five best seasons, in terms of his individual performance?

I feel that it is hard to argue against the fact that Xavi's best five seasons were 2004/2005 2008/2009 2009/2010 2010/2011 2011/2012 So, how would you rank those seasons, and why? All in terms of Xavi's individual performance level in those seasons in your opinion.

Barcelona 2011 was the best team ever in my opinion. No shame to not eeach those heights again.

Barcelona 2010/2011 seems so clearly better than 2008/2009 when I watch both play.

The 2009 team was not as smooth, controlling, polished, confident and fluent on the ball.
