    Rafael Márquez

Couldn't agree more, Marquez is fantastic and i hope he's back to full fitness soon. Recent examples of supposedly 'world class' defenders buggering up could be: Rio Ferdinand against us in the Champions League Final allowing Messi plenty of space to score & his recent one against Holland...

    Champions league 09-10

Just finished watching the Panathinaikos Atletico match, Leto looked fantastic when he came on and what a goal he put away. Was mainly rooting for Atletico but Leto had part of me looking at Panathinaikos getting back into it. Entertaining match.

Still think we shoulda kept him on for at least one more year. We paid all that money for him and seems like a waste not to give him another season. Ah well.

    Marc Muniesa

He played well in the 2nd half against Tottenham aswell, got in the way of just about everything that came his way with the exception of the goal when it seemed everyone in the box switched off a bit while failing to play the offside trap. Not played much football in total but i've been impressed.

    Franck Ribéry

Ah but Beast you forget! Barca went to Scotland for their pre-season and were seen by me so you've left the most important box of all unchecked :D.

Messi or Iniesta - the current BPITW?

I brought up Ronaldo mainly to show that the theory of a top player not scoring against a opposition from a particular country and therefore must be ineffective against them is silly, Ronaldo probably played a good role against the Spanish sides he was up against in those games dispite not...

Messi or Iniesta - the current BPITW?

Nonsence, his pass completion rate was about 85% (3rd highest behind Xavi and then Iniesta) and the majority of his dribbles ended in free kicks or a pass, he got tackled occasionally perhaps more than he usually does but that's not suprising against one of the top teams in the world. Well...

    14 - Javier Mascherano

I wanted to speak my part to do with people dissing Zanetti but it seems Zanela has all the bases covered :D Dunno if the people saying Zanetti is "finished" etc watch much Serie A but he is probably one of Inter's most consistent players. Who while not often giving a mesmerising display never...

Totally agree, it was a great pass. Infact he played well against Valencia when Henry got his hatrick aswell. He set up one and maybe more of the goals in that game. Unless he's used to get someone like Ribery or Arshavin then im happy to see him stick around, hopefully not as our front three...

    Will we be tricampeones again?

Just like the Treble season il be happy with La Liga, anything else is a bonus (and what a bonus it was!). Though this season i would like Barca to go all out for the Spanish and European Supercups and especially the Fifa Club World Cup as Barca have never won it before.

The same site by that reading has Xavi with 138 assists. i don't think it's entirely accurate. Probably read the assists colum below the one your reading. So 2 assists.
