Don't see the point in subbing him on for 10 mins. The pattern with him so far has always been 10 to 15 mins of mediocre to poor play followed by intermittent bursts of creativity and chance creation. Would have been better off bringing Malcolm in the final minutes.

There were a couple of 3v2 and 3v3 counters in the second half where he kept looking for Suarez even though Dembele was in a better position to his right. Not sure if he was trying to get Suarez on the score sheet but at 1-0 seems like a sub-optimal choice.

His execution still needs to improve which will happen in time but his decision making is for the most part spot on and that's a great sign.

Given space, he is just as dangerous as Neymar used to be. His decision making was also spot on. Just needs a bit of luck and practice with the execution.

His declining quality is a serious issue. EV needs to step up and come up with a clear plan. Either get him running in 2-3 weeks or adjust his tactics to play without Suarez.

Suarez is making everyone look worse. That one move around the 76th min with minimal involvements from him just emphasizes his negative impact.

I think Madrid will pass him over and pick up Mbappe the first chance they get. He's already better than Neymar and doesn't come with so much baggage. Kind of ironic how Neymar got out of Messi's shadow just to walk into Mbappe's.
