    Antoine Griezmann

Has he EVER taken the ball to the byline when receives wide with one man to beat in space? Nope! Passes back inside, does a wee skip and jogs back into the middle. Utterly hopeless, again!!!!

La Liga | Round 37: FC Barcelona - Celta Vigo

In reflection this is a good, honest and accurate appraisal. Although exceedingly frustrating when with a bit more managerial acumen Barca could have actually won a double. But you're right, it was a transitional season.

La Liga | Round 36: Levante UD - FC Barcelona 3-3

Disgraceful second half. de Jong only one, maybe Alba too that gets pass marks.

La Liga | Round 35: FC Barcelona - Atletico Madrid 1-1

Atleti need to win this.

La Liga | Round 35: FC Barcelona - Atletico Madrid 1-1

Atleti have controlled virtually the whole game with and without the ball. They've no worries as Barca have no speed in behind. They're growing in confidence and pushing Barca back with ease. Atleti are doing what they want. Barca midfield lost!

    Clément Lenglet (loaned to Atletico)

He had a poor first half. Can't imagine his second was much better. A liability.

La Liga | Round 34: Valencia - FC Barcelona 2-3

Brutal viewing. So ponderous and a lesson in keeping the ball for possession sakes. And the defence looks fragile as usual. Need their arses kicked !

    Lionel Messi - v7

You're so far off, man!! XaviV

    Lionel Messi - v7

Nahh man, I'm one of his biggest apologists but today he did squat, really didn't ceate anything (unless first 15 as I missed the start). Moved the ball on, and gave it away a good few times too. Got a player sent off!! lol malvolio

    Sergi Roberto

 one of those days, Frenkie.

    Antoine Griezmann

    Lionel Messi - v7

If folks want to pin an horror show performance on Messi then this is your opportunity. He'd have been better rested as he literally did fuck all in this game. Least it's out the way I guess.

La Liga | Round 32: Villarreal - FC Barcelona 1-2

Shit performance; thank goodness Griezmann stepped up. :shakeshead:

La Liga | Round 32: Villarreal - FC Barcelona 1-2

They need to up the tempo and start taking this gae properly seriously or they'll concede and not be able to get it back again. Team as a whole have been poor.

La Liga | Round 30: Real Madrid - FC Barcelona 2-1

Straight back down to earth. Madrid getting all 11 players back behind the ball in their final third is embarassig but it's working a treat as this Barca team has no ability to open them up. Really can't see a way back unless they get a break early on. Need a bit of the luck Madrid had first...

La Liga | Round 29: FC Barcelona - Valladolid 1-0

Seriously off the pace. Better get their shit together as Valladolid are knocking on the door, and this ref looks like he'll give one the first opportunity. The Dembele CF is not working not with Griezmann and Messi so off in the first 45. One of the most disjointed halves of teh season imo.

La Liga | Round 28: Real Sociedad - FC Barcelona 1-6

Outplayed for the first 35 minutes due to lack of intensity, then boom a couple of quality passes from Messi and it's over, or should be. Need to come out with the same attitude they had in the last 10 mins of the half or Real will get back into it.
  18. S

    Sergio Busquets

I think he's been one of Barca's best/most consistent performers this season. Obviously he's lost another yard of that snail's pace he was born with  but on the ball he's generally been great. Haven't looked at his pass %ages, probably down to an extent but that's understandable...

    Antoine Griezmann

Absolute mess with him on the field.

La Liga | Round 26: Osasuna - FC Barcelona 0-2

Very frustrating dis-jointed game. Barca never had any real control of the midfield hence the lack of any rhythmn but fortunately they did have the quality when it mattered.
