Messi simply needs touches. He couldn't get the ball b/c our mid-field was non-existent in the first half. He moved back more towards the center mid-field and got the ball more and thus more involved, and we attacked more as we got more possession.

I think our midfield is neutralizing Messi.

If I was Lucho, I play Messi at midfield right now. He's too isolated b/c our midfield can't contain possession. I think that first half was the worst half of possession all season.

Benzema is the player Barca defenders need to fear the most. He always is spectacular vs us. The chances Real has tonight primiarly is due to Benz.

I think it has more to do with the fact that with his form last year, Barca didn't win any titles for the first time in his career. I think not winning any team trophies motivated him more than the Ballon d'or. He knows his play decides games for Barca. So he's stepping up.
