Acttually that's the natural result of his game. He tries to KEEP the ball, to keep the possession. Surely he could just kick it away in many cases, but that would mean possession for opponent, an opportunity that could result in chances and goals. So him risking and keeping the ball results in...

Vermalean+Pique is our best CB duo, IMO. Masch is great too, but more vulnerable aerially.

He has technical ability, he just lacks the crucial thing for every midfielder - vision. He can't make throughpass if his life depended on it, but his crosses are quite good. So much better as RB.

Source for this? If it was that easy nobody would be paying taxes when invoking release clause. Athletic don't negotiate with ANYONE. They simply don't sell their good players, period. MOney are almost worthless for them, if they can't buy proper replacement (exclusively Basque players).

Coutinho is too attackminded and IMO "soft" for Luis Enrique. Based on his transfers he likes his midfielders to be more physical than Xaviniesta and able to constantly win the balls, not just distribute. I don't think Coutinho has a chance coming here as long as LE is a coach. Pogba has higher...

We definitely need midfielder, but more controlling than attacking type - Gundogan, Verratti, Pjanic, Koke maybe even Herrera (who may be cheap). Also backup for LB, backup forward (can be solved in winter).

Reus isn't worse player than Neymar. He might not score so much goals, but he's much more creative, more accurate passer and somewhat stronger too. And Benzema is pretty good, versatile player too.
