He's had a better season than Messi. Messi has been well below last year's level, and Suarez has been well above last year's level. Kind of obvious. Like Suarez has scored more goals for Barca in one season than real Ronaldo did.

If you think Suarez needs Messi or Neymar to get the ball then you obviously have not followed Suarez's career. Now if you say Suarez needs Messi and Neymar's blessing to get the ball while playing for Barca, then I would agree with you.

The true quality of Suarez is not in the 4 goals and 3 assists. The true quality was shown on Bartra's goal where he directs Bartra on where to make his run. Suarez does this every game. He's like an on field coach and he makes the team better. That is something no one else does to his level...

The barca system of passing it laterally to the point of exhaustion really kills any pressing from the forward line. It's impossible to press when your back is to the goal for 99% of the time and you are just watching the back four push it amongst themselves.

Messi had two months off. He should be in prime physical condition. Neymar is young and shouldn't be drastically affected. Suarez has just come off a week off due to suspension. I think maybe Neymar's and Messi's off field monetary issues are on their minds more than winning trophies at the moment.
