    Champions League

Every format is affected by different sets of factors. Being able to grind out results throughout a long league season doesn't mean you're the best team quality-wise either. If that were the case, we would be rating Mancini's Inter higher than Ancelotti's Milan.

    Champions League

This forum's obsession with the concept of "lucky draws" will always be puzzling to me. First, everybody was freaking out because Madrid "got lucky" by drawing Chelsea, now Chelsea were the lucky ones because they drew Madrid..? It's asinine to claim both finalists benefited from luck to get...

    N'Golo Kante

...Casemiro is also in the discussion of "best in the world " midfielders. I'm curious as to why you don't think a player who's pretty much the engine of world cup-winning and CL-winning teams is potentially the best in the world.

    Mateo Kovačić

Has anyone done less to win four champions leagues? I don't recall him being important in any of those campaigns.

    Thomas Tuchel

You're saying this as if it's a point against him. The fact that he won the CL with a useless striker is a testament to his quality and one can only imagine what this team would look like with a competent player up front.

    N'Golo Kante

iirc that's not the reason most people gave for not wanting him. Back then, people were still obsessed with the idea of only getting " tiki-taka" type midfielders and Kante was seen as a pure athlete that wouldn't suit Barca's style.

    N'Golo Kante

Remember back in 2016 when wanting to sign him was seen as a controversial opinion in these parts?

    Champions League

Shoutout to @F B and the other clowns who thought Chelsea was an 'easy" draw for one of the worst Real Madrids in this decade. :p

    Yannick Ferreira Carrasco

One of their most important players this season.
  11. C

    N'Golo Kante

Same with Azpilicueta. He was trying to make changes that didn't need to happen.

La Liga | Round 33: FC Barcelona - Granada 1-2

The pressure got to them. The whole " every match is a final" concept is too tough to handle for some of these players.

    Champions League

If you don't think the Spanish are racist as well, I have some bad news for you.

    European Super League

I mean, people watch the NBA so why not

    Kylian Mbappé

It's ridiculous really. Imagine holding that world cup performance against him when nobody here has ever witnessed such a performance from a player that age.

    Kylian Mbappé

He was literally THE difference-maker in the ties against Barcelona and Bayern this year. And let's not forget his run with Monaco when he scored in every single knockout game he played in. In the world cup, he got France past Argentina and scored in the final. That's more than any 19 years old...

    Diego Simeone

Simeone is getting severely underrated here. He's being shat on for not living up to the standards that he himself has set up for this team  Atletico will surely go back to being a fringe top 6 contender after he leaves. Just this year alone, his ability to get the most out of players was...

    Malcom

He should've signed with Lyon or Roma. That would've been the logical next step for him after Bordeaux.

    Lionel Messi - v7

Obviously, I'm talking about the PRESENT, as in his recent run of games.

    Lionel Messi - v7

What the hell happened to his free kicks? seems to have contracted whatever illness Ronaldo picked up after moving to Madrid.
