    9 - Luis Suárez - v1

I'd take him over Rooney, Silva and Cazorla. RVP and Aguero on the other hand...

I will genuinely be surprised if Suarez is still at Liverpool next season. This coming January window is very important for Liverpool, in that we have to show ambition if we want to keep Suarez. I fear we'll just buy a few squad players to fill up the squad (which tbf we do need) but we also...

    Europa League

I thought bringing Gerrard on was a mistake. Sahin should have come on in his place as more than anything we needed a cool head in the middle to take the sting out of Udinese. Instead, we did the opposite. Hendo should have also stayed on and Shelvey should have come off for Sahin. BR got...

Sterling played on the left. He had a quiet game there. Second half, after Suso came off he went over to the right and absolutely terrorised the Norwich right back. Also got an assist for Gerrard's goal.

Against Utd last week he scored goal, made the second most passes in the team and had a 95% pass completion rate. Wouldn't surprise me if he had similar stats today against Norwich. So nope, he's not at odds with BR's style. He's just gotten better and better. As long as he sticks to playing...

Here are some general Gerrard stats. 85% pass completion rate 18 chances created, 4th highest in the league, equal to Gareth Bale. 6th highest player in the league for the number of passes made. That's actually some decent stats for a relic.

You do realise you're talking about Steven Gerrard and not Stewart Downing? Steven Gerrard creates clear cut chances. And Gerrard's pass completion is well in the 80 percent which is quite incredible for an attacking player that plays risky passes.

And yet after Suarez he's been our top creator. He was our best player against Utd, had another good performance today, scoring another goal. Gerrard is anything but finished.

The problem with Shelvey is that he's a genuinely talented player, but he's one that plays with instinct and not brain. Good thing is, you can teach a player to use his brains but you can't teach them talent. Under BR, Shelvey will only improve. I wasn't initially convinced with him as I felt...

That said, Suarez had terrible lawyers acting for him and had he been given a decent defence, he would probably have got the 4 match ban that Terry has been given.

It's the same burden of proof for Suarez and Terry though.

It's unbelievable how in a case where the police decided there wasn't enough evidence to prosecute, the FA could somehow give out a 8 match ban to a player on a "his word v mine" evidence, but a 4 match ban to a player who the police, CPS felt had a strong enough case to bring to court and tv...

    Liverpool

I didn't watch the game but looking at the stats, Liverpool had over 50% possession, had more shots at goal and made more passes than Utd and that's with us down to 10 men for more than half the game and Utd playing with 12 men. So that kind of dominance should give us hope for the future...

Apologies. I meant "this match is really Liverpool v The Referee. Won't make the same mistake again. Again, my apologies.

This match is really Liverpool v Van Persie. If VP has a quiet game, Liverpool win. If he doesn't, we lose. Simples.

That actually happened just before Liverpool played Barca in the CL and he celebrating scoring against Barca by taking a golf swing. Crazy bastard :D

    Daniel Agger

27? i'd say he's just hitting his peak. Hopefully at Liverpool.
