Against Utd last week he scored goal, made the second most passes in the team and had a 95% pass completion rate. Wouldn't surprise me if he had similar stats today against Norwich. So nope, he's not at odds with BR's style. He's just gotten better and better. As long as he sticks to playing...

Here are some general Gerrard stats. 85% pass completion rate 18 chances created, 4th highest in the league, equal to Gareth Bale. 6th highest player in the league for the number of passes made. That's actually some decent stats for a relic.

You do realise you're talking about Steven Gerrard and not Stewart Downing? Steven Gerrard creates clear cut chances. And Gerrard's pass completion is well in the 80 percent which is quite incredible for an attacking player that plays risky passes.

And yet after Suarez he's been our top creator. He was our best player against Utd, had another good performance today, scoring another goal. Gerrard is anything but finished.

The problem with Shelvey is that he's a genuinely talented player, but he's one that plays with instinct and not brain. Good thing is, you can teach a player to use his brains but you can't teach them talent. Under BR, Shelvey will only improve. I wasn't initially convinced with him as I felt...

I didn't watch the game but looking at the stats, Liverpool had over 50% possession, had more shots at goal and made more passes than Utd and that's with us down to 10 men for more than half the game and Utd playing with 12 men. So that kind of dominance should give us hope for the future...
