    Champions League 2016/17

I will bet my (imaginary) house that City won't even get past BMG and finish third in the group.

    Champions League 2016/17

obviously, it's not the most likely scenario but BMG have done very well against Pep's Bayern. Since Pep is instilling the same possession based football into City, BMG's fast and direct style comes in very handy. Barca and City are still favorites to go through, of course

    Champions League 2016/17

serghei Not joining the argument of which club is bigger, cause it's based on semantics anyways. For what it's worth, I think City are bigger than Dortmund, but Dortmund are a better side IMO. Of course, we'll have to see how both sides develop over the course of the season, but in any case it's...

    Champions League 2016/17

City are unbelievably overrated by some people on here. Like already mentioned, City have been absolutely garbage in the CL. Don't get fooled by their semifinal run last year, where they were still average. Doesn't mean they will continue to underwhelm under Pep, but we'll have to wait and see...

    David Alaba

Alaba has stated multiple times that he would like a permanent role in midfield. But so far, partly due to having a staggering amount of injuries across the whole team, Alaba played mostly as LB or CB. Other reasons are of course his versatility and Pep's preference of playing 3 CBs. I think if...

    Pep Guardiola

I won't go into a contest of who knows more Bayern fans, but I got the feeling that most of them are disappointed by his departure. But unless we have empirical data from interviews with a representative sample, we will never get to the "truth".

    Mesut Ozil

Was pretty good against United, City and Bayern this season.

    Pep Guardiola

It's Sammer we're talking about. He is known for being over sensitive and overprotective and lashes out at anyone who dares to criticize Bayern. He would have ranted against the media if it was only a single goal(dot)com article attacking Pep. And yes, we have a bunch of ex players and coaches...

    Carlo Ancelotti

As much as I love Guardiola and disappointed that he's leaving, I genuinely believe that Ancelotti will be the better coach FOR US. Pep is the best in the world but I feel he tinkered too much with tactics and formations. I think we won't be able to dominate small or medium sized teams as much...

    Pep Guardiola

What are you on about? The general consensus in the German media, among pundits and fans is that Guardiola's departure is a big loss for Bayern and the Bundesliga on the whole. Despite the disappointing results against Real and Barca in the last two years, Guardiola has arguably been the best...

CL semis: Bayern - Barca 3-2 (3-5 agg.)

So much garbage in this thread  After the tie you really need to kill it with fire.

CL semis: Bayern - Barca 3-2 (3-5 agg.)

Well, you explicitly said that you re-watched Barca's game and Bayern's game against City. I just find that scenario highly unlikely. Why spend 180 minutes of your time to prove a point? It's also a common thing among posters on football message boards to claim that they have watched x-amount of...

CL semis: Bayern - Barca 3-2 (3-5 agg.)

It's good that you don't care. I actually agree with your point that Bayern haven't been that convincing in "big games" this season. Just find it funny how people on the Internet always make things up to support their argument, that's all :)

    I call bullshit. :messi:

    Cristiano Ronaldo - v1

It's not even a debate. He would give away all of his championship trophies, domestic cups and champions league trophies for more ballon d'ors. This guy is unbelievable  He should have become a boxer or a wrestler. Perfect stage for a self centered guy like him. Also would be hilarious to...

    Cristiano Ronaldo - v1

Hahaha...I can't even hate him anymore. I used to despise him. Now, I find his narcissistic, egoistic behavior hilarious. He's just like a small, spoilt child. Brilliant comedy.

    UEFA Champions League 2014-15

Yeah, Hamburg cannot win the league because Bayern has too much money ("they're taking our jobs!...). It's not because Hamburg have an inept board, overpaid, mediocre players and are overall just a terrible side ;)

    Bayern München

Not arguing over the specific instances in that game, but a handball does not necessarily have to be deliberate for a penalty call.

CL semis: Bayern - Barca 3-2 (3-5 agg.)

Nobody's trying to discredit anything. If you win the whole thing, you are considered the best, unless you're Chelsea. In a few years nobody will even care who was misseing in which leg. People will only and rightfully see who won the whole thing.

    Bayern München

By all means, have your revenge. But then please finish the job against Real or else the love-in for Ronaldo and co. will be insufferable for the next decade.
