    Pedro Rodriguez

Feels slightly uncanny for some reason that both Alexis and he are out there balling still.
  2. BusiTheKing

    Patricio Pacifico

Quite like the look of him, as LCB more than LB.

    Camp Nou

Did they really remove the first row of seats closest to the pitch to make space for that double sized advertisement board? Looks outrageous that thing.
  4. BusiTheKing

    Xavi Espart

Solid debut. Composed and practical player.

    22 - Marc Bernal

Looked more mobile and eager today. Liked it.

FC Barcelona: Win of the youth system

Pretty excited about Adam Argemi who just made his debut for the b team starting in the Girona match (Anyone see how he played?). One of the most interesting midfield talents by my eye test. Quite similar style to Pedri, just turned 18. On the bench for the juvenil cdr final.

    Juan Hernandez

Can't figure out if he's perhaps a little style over substance but does appear quite good. Would be interesting with a Joao Neves type. Personally couldn't care less about height.

    Hamza Abdelkarim

This kid does not look any good.

    16 - Fermín López

I usually pay attention to this but tbh haven't thought this about Fermin. He seems quite to enjoy running over distances which is a good sign. But it is certainly the case with Gavi whose mechanics appear very blocked up. Happens when you optimize for movement over short distances with feet...

    21 - Frenkie de Jong

Sorely needed and for good reasons. His overall movement and initiative in generating forward play is vital in these games.

    16 - Fermín López

Several times mid attack he had to play a simple ball and just mishit or was caught out of balance. On that one good chance he also appeared out of balance. All our technical ability is thrown out the window when we're forced to play fatigued like yesterday.
  12. BusiTheKing

    Xavi Espart

    I like him a lot.

    22 - Marc Bernal

Saw this coming two years ago.
  14. BusiTheKing

    22 - Marc Bernal

A euphemism for not committing to making himself available to receive the ball in uncomfortable positions on the one hand, and on the other lacking courage to make more direct forward plays. I didn't mean that he was literally standing still for the whole game. But as I said, it is fair enough...

    2 - João Cancelo

Makes such a difference to have actual attacking quality in our fullbacks
  16. BusiTheKing

    22 - Marc Bernal

So what is exactly is your disagreemtn with the statement that Pedri was more active in both picking it up from defense and advancing to the attack (ie. connecting the lines in both ends), while Bernal remained more inactive in the middle?
  17. BusiTheKing

    22 - Marc Bernal

But Pedri was clearly also most active of the two in getting the ball to attackers. Or would you dispute that?
  18. BusiTheKing

    22 - Marc Bernal

Bernal was instructed not to receive the ball from our defenders or to advance it to our attackers?
  19. BusiTheKing

    14 - Marcus Rashford

Even his crosses were shit today

    22 - Marc Bernal

Would give him motm for the goals but still very meagre contribution to general distribution and ball progression. Felt he left Pedri to connect the lines in both ends and sort of just stood in the middle. Fair perhaps if he's meant to play it safe until more comfortable. Impressed me with a...
