    Aleix Garrido

Nice to see him back. Was out for almost all of 2024 wasn't he?

    3 - Alejandro Balde

he's allergic to playing a clever pass but I still think it's nice to have his speed down there. even when he gets beat he recovers well enough to put pressure on the attacker

    Doesn't look ready to play

    Barca Transfers and Rumors

Too many small-fry deals like this South African kid. Should focus our efforts on Mastantuono. No reason to hold back there, if you've got half an eye for talent.

I'm afraid that's not how contracts work.

    $$ - Frenkie de Fraud

In the not-so-distant past, there were times where De Jong was the only guy on the pitch with proper off-the-ball running. He might not have been a world-beater but he took a lot of responsibility for keeping things moving in an otherwise apathetic, docile team, and I still have respect him for...

    $$ - Frenkie de Fraud

I would keep him simply because we need midfielders. We have some talent but it's all a bit patchy. Gavi is still a question mark for me. Pedri is good only under certain conditions + can rarely be counted on for 90 mins. Olmo is constantly injured. Fermin is fine as a sub but no more, same with...

    11 - Raphinha

He seems quicker than last year.

    6 - Gavi

Playing with a 10 as we do now, both pivots need to be positionally responsible. One is not enough. The only way I really see Gavi working is in a classic three-man midfield to be honest.

    6 - Gavi

He's obviously good at something but still not sure how to translate it into winning a football game. Needs to be more of a larger, coherent meaning to his habits on the pitch.

    35 - Gerard Martín

Was pretty good. Balde could learn a thing from how Martin plays these cut-in passes as for the assist. Not good enought long term but I like his attitude. Appears aggressive in attack and doesn't seem to bothered by making a mistake. Not as quick as you'd like for a full back but held his...

    CL Round 5: Barca - Brest 3-0

If they sit deep, I can see Olmo on the wing. If we have to battle to move up the pitch, then he's useless there, as we saw vs. Celta. Need someone with legs who can stretch the pitch and run deep. Would rather see Pau but Fermin will have to do.

FC Barcelona: Win of the youth system

Caught an hour of the game at work. Noone really stood out from what I saw, though I liked Dani Avila the number 6 and Juan Hernandez the LW. Don't really see it with Quim.

    $$ - Frenkie de Fraud

Looked ok for his first start in a while. A few nice passes. Didn't really notice any problems defensively. The criticism seems way out of proportion to me.

    6 - Gavi

Looks a bit raw and positioning def needs some work. Don't see him starting just yet.
  16. BusiTheKing

    Álex Valle (loaned to Celtic)

For me there are still some question marks surrounding Balde long term. The position is Balde's to lose, but if Valle fancies his chances he could probably make a challenge for it.

    17 - Marc Casadó

His creative contribution is really great, but the most valuable part of his work is still in the minor things he does continuously to tie things together. Tireless running yes, but tireless focus as well, which adds up to a lot over the course of 90 minutes. Can see it rubbing off on others...

16 and looks like he slots in comfortably for the b team

    Pedro Fernández 'Dro'

Pedro Rodriguez as in Pedro Rodriguez. Looks more like a classic controlling 8 than a strict DM tho.

    Pedro Fernández 'Dro'

Pedro Rodriguez looks like the real deal to me. Can't tell with those other Pedros.
