Dembele cant play LW, Coutinho does. And if he isn t there, he will be LCM and no way Valverde plays Coutinho in midfield with Dembele on his wing, that is way too suspect defensively. So yes, he can play as RW in four four two with Roberto as RB, against small teams. That is far from enough...

On one hand a return to four three three might see Dembele benched in favor of Messi. On the other, he is clearly not trusted enough defensively in a four four two. Worrying for Dembele.
