What Pedri is getting now, not what he'll get when he'll renew. He's also due an extension, it's gonna be quite a challenge for Deco to renew these players. You can't say to them to accept lower wages because of the financial situation while you give bigger wages to worse players.

I always wonder if the players do anything related to football during this long absence from playing. Gavi could take time to study tactics and positioning, skinny guys like Pedri and Bernal could use the time for upper body training and stuff like that.

Of course he'll get a lot of minutes but can't see Gavi starting when everybody is healthy (if that ever happens). Olmo, Pedri and Rapniha are better as CM/CAM and Gavi is no DM even in Flick's system.

It was so logical and easy to rest him until September, he could do a little preseason now and start playing after international break. Now he's injured because they didn't get him any rest, couldn't we survive withou these few cameos that he had in previous games? Always the same idiotic...

The matches are a lot less important than everyday training without rest.

Nico was right in the end, there is no chance we could register him and Olmo. We probably couldn't even register only Nico (if we chose to not buy Olmo) because of the release clause and Athletic would report our shananigans to La liga. I also think Nico wanted to come but it's better he waited...

The biggest problem is that Laporta would probably replace him with an even bigger amateur.
