Anyone notice he looked really down in the vids of the team celebrating the awards on the plane? Not his usual perma-smiling self at all. Maybe something to do with his marriage problems. Hope it doesn't affect him too much...
Haha, what a show from him in the 2nd half. He was making fools out of pretty much the entire Madrid team. I think he needs to be upgraded from his "Don" status alrady.
I take it you don't class the likes of Messi and Thiago as "homegrown" then? Because you know, they are foreigners too. I'm glad you're not in charge of our youth policy, that's all I'm saying.
I remember back in the summer some people were saying his passing wasn't good/accurate enough to be a 1st teamer at Barca.... Lol. Love that he's continually proving people wrong.
^ Thanks. Sporting look like the biggest threat to our boys then.
And oh dear @ Manchester City! Especially after all of their talk about how they're investing so much into their youth. Clearly they still have a long way to go.
I think he's proving to be more consistent than even his biggest supporters expected him to be. I mean, how often does he have a poor match? And tonight he showed he can do it against quality opposition too. Great talent.
Was odd that he was left on the bench in such a big fixture. It's not like we have an excessive amount of CBs, so for him to be playing so infrequently this season is weird.
