Unexpected sub yesterday for this Chad. But understandable with Eric being 150 cm, Pique unavailable and Osasuna spamming crosses.
Didn't have much to do but the few times he had the ball he was calm. Was expecting him to hoof the ball at one point but he decided to play it short, and did it well.

He's under contract so don't know why we wouldn't. Unless we'll send him on loan which would probably make more sense than keeping him around as 5th choice CB.
Depends on how he'll do this season I guess. I think he has a lot of potential and could be left-footed version of Araujo. Better technically than the Uruguayan was when first promoted but not as athletic. That's more because I consider a healthy Araujo an absolute physical beast than downplaying Riad's abilities though.

Players like Chadi should be out on loan much quicker than have been in past.
Renew him and send on loan..sink or swim time.
if he wont renew then sell him or punt on for fee and 50% of future. Far too many Barca B players running down contracts.

Osasuna are very CLOSELY following Chadi Riad, whose contract runs out in 2024. It should be remembered that Chadi made his Barça debut away against Osasuna at El Sadar. [@albert_roge & @PaxtoDelaRica] #fcblive
Barça can renew him and send him on loan to Osasuna, exactly what they did with Abde. Another possibility is that Chadi stays until 2024 and leaves for free. #fcblive
After a good loan spell of Abde there should probably repeat it with Riad.
Might also loan them Pablo Torre if they're interested.

They cant let him stay until 2024 and leave for free.
Should be told wont play this season if that is his plan.
If Barca Atletic dont get promoted then Estanis, Chadi, Valle etc should all be loand out to higher level.
Barca keep these players in B team for too long.

Hes a very good talent that would have a contract until 2026 already at Madrid. Renew with a loan to Osasuna would be an excellent move for all parties. If Abde stays, even better.
Another good player at the B team is Luismi who we should activate the buy option for. Can see him being a LaLiga player for a mid team. Criminally underrated
by the twitter or YouTube crowd who somehow rate Pocho and do videos of his 5 minute cameos instead. But it you watch the games, Marquez has a good eye on player talent levels and there is a reason this guy always plays.

They wont sign Luismi.
Some decent moments but he wont get near first team and they wont get 2-3m back for a a 22+ year old B team player who has been with top flight teams for years.

Cant see it at all.
2-3m for him is too much at 22 and been good in moments but nothing amazing.
Also Garrido, Casado, Unai Hernandez all going to be needing chances in B team soon enough.
