You also don't want to give the impression that you'll be a problem when everything you do is heavily scrutinized today, whether you want to stay or go. I wasn't inclined to think he was unsettled before, perhaps unhappy with the rotation system employed by Lucho but the timing of the situation with Hart is odd. Like I said before, it's very possible it may just be happenstance but sometimes these transfers happen when things line up like this

It's possibly City have got in touch with his entourage since the injury. But I've a hard time imagining the injury is itself anyway linked to it. I don't believe a footballer in his right mind would try and jeopardise his chances at an elite club, when there is much at stake.

Lol at those of you who think we can get the full price out of him. IF he does indeed leave, it will be about €25 - 30 mil max

Yeh I think so too. So the question is would it be worth it? There are rumours of D.Alves being lined up. And as much as I like him, buying a 31 y.o at the back of an ACL, and one who is not exactly ideal for our system doesn't seem too appealing to me.
Also, Bravo who acc. to some on here is a top 3 keeper, significantly better than MAtS, and one who can play top level up til 40(buffon style), can easily be had for the aforementioned price, yet one of world's top manager is hell bent on our lesser keeper. :neymar:

It doesn't seem like he want to leave judging by his comments on twitter.

Pep dropped Hart though so they're probably going to go all in for a GK.

MD says we are still sticking with our 80 Million euro buyout clause. (Aka we aren't selling him).

they did say Bravo could be available for 20-25 Million euros.

If the release clause is payed, I have no problems. But we shouldn't want to sell, and the only way he leaves without us wanting to sell is by a club paying the release clause. I heard it's 80m. He's not worth that much.

There is no logic behind selling him, What guardiola looks for in a GK is the SAME as we do (Sweeper/Great with his feet), If city is willing to throw insane money for him, It just shows how dry the market is for GKs like him, And by the way, We live in the same PLANET as them!
We'll just end up going through hell to try and find someone as good as him, And more than likely will also be forced to spend ridiculous amount of money, Again, Same planet, It's a circle.

Lastly, Barca does not need the money, We already have an insane squad that's unthinkable how it can possibly improve more, And our finances are great, A club that is looking to dominate Europe, Doesn't need to compromise, We're not juventus.

Unless the player himself wants to leave because Lucho made it clear that he won't start in the league. There's little logic behind keeping a player who doesn't want to be here anymore.

This isn't a group therapy, You can't just walk out because you feel like it, Why the concept of a contract is hard to understand.
