Cugat specializes in knee injuries, but the word is that he treated Thiago with cortisone. The problem is, cortisone isn’t suited for a collateral ligament tear because it increases the risk of after-effect injuries. Usually Bayern players (even all players of the Bundesliga) are treated by the famous and highly-decorated German doctor Hans-Wilhelm M?ller-Wohlfahrt. But not this time, as Guardiola decided to send Thiago to his acquaintance Cugat. Consequently, a powerplay of responsibility and competence played out at Bayern, resulting to a year-long absence of Thiago, and Guardiola admitting: “Maybe it was a huge mistake (to send Thiago to Barcelona for treatment).”

Cugat was also exposed over Thiago

Bro you know Pep was being sarcastic with that right?

He hated Bayern's medical team and always complained about them he fired their doctors

Many of the German doctor's treatments are seen as controversial, including using injections of a substance called Hyalart, extracted from the crest of cockerels, which is claimed to help lubricate knee injuries and take away the pain. He has also injected Myo-Melcain, which is the painkiller Procaine in a honey solution, or Actovegin into patients' muscles.

M?ller-Wohlfahrt's use of homeopathic medicine to treat players is also controversial

Muller-Wohlfahrt previously went at Guardiola in his book Seeing with your Hands: My Life and my Medicine.

In that, he wrote: "I think Pep Guardiola is a person with a weak self-confidence who does everything to hide that from other people.

"Because of that he seems to live in a constant fear. Not so much of defeats but of the loss of power and authority."

Cugat is a "highly decorated" surgeon himself, with as great of CV as you can get.
But he is over 70 now, and doctors decline like anyone else
The club has been dealing with him since 1992, Pep was as young as Nico back then.
Time to move on.

We just need to forget about him short term. Just let him take his time and if he manages to come back ,great. In the meantime we need to buy a quality winger. Fuck Dumbele, just get another player.

Horatio

You're welcome
I am still hopeful. We won't see him this season but with proper care does not need to remain injury prone rest of career. Too soon to tell.
